Beware of TransAm they actually left off two letter in there name (SC) TransScam. Whatever you do do not lease a truck with these crooks. At the time I left I had outstanding settlements one even making a deposit for $0.00 and owed me money. I had outstanding billing issues. The office personel are complete jerkoffs and think a truck driver is a dirt bag and when TansAm gets done with you you will be a dirt bag. The only thing TransAm has to offer is a way for a student to get their 6 months to 1 year experience to grow from a Mickey Mouse company to a real company but do not lease at all with these liars.

It's amazing to me how childish you all act. In my long career in the transportation industry, I have learned that there are only two types of drivers in the industry...those that complain about anything and everything and usely are the ones with low miles, disciplinary reports filed on them, etc....and then there are those that truly are professional drivers. They don't whine like a 5th grader. They do there job; communicate well with dispatch on any issues that may come up on a load; and if a gripe does come up...they get with the driver manager/fleet manger and get it resolved. These drivers are the ones that get miles, get paid and get home on-time. They know time management and how to run a business as a lease/owner operator.

Im a little confused i hear a lot of bad stuff about trans am but i have to be honest ever since trainin class i,ve been so excited i am besides myself trainin was a breeze and workin with my trainer was a good expereince he taught me every thing i need to know then i was approached about leasing a truck i was hesitant at first then i was told lease drivers get MORE MILES then company drivers i get too drive a brand new truck people wave at me on the hihgway people tell me i have a nice truck i only had one problem getting home time but you have to realize how busy trans am is i had a couple slow weeks but was told not too worry they,ll make it up to me people at dispatch are friendly and coperative i let them know which state i want to go to and do there best to accommodate me i wish i came to trans am sooner oh well ,gotta go GET SOME MORE MILES..................................

Yah i know all about these crooks, but if all of us lease drivers and company drivers don't get together, they'll just keep fucking us over. I was getting 3000 plus as a company/coach but now as a lease driver i'm lucky to pay my truck payment. We need to do what the fed ex drivers di and sue these BASTARDS!!!!!!!!!!!!! and fuck them like there fucking us on the daily basis.
