- their dispatchers are clueless and the directions will get you lost or in a wreck, left when you should go right, right when you should go left.they think a drivers job is to sit in a meat yard or wait at a receiver for days to unload.the equipment runs but needs work to keep it moving,and dont go to the yard, you wont get out for days.get used to $375.00 a week because thats what you^ll make if you dont get in a preventable looking for the right signs!!!!!!!!

- Trans Am trucking will ruin your DAC if you decide to leave thier lease program. I was a Coach for Trans Am, as well as a Lease OP. Went from 3100 miles too 1800 miles a week. Truck I leased was broke down once a week "Re-Gen Issue".After I asked for another truck after 2 months they gave me another one fuel tanks leaked. I never refused a load, ran where and when they asked. After I gave my notice ,They sat me Idle and gave me 400 miles a week unil I left. I brought truck back to Trans Am. They put anything and everything you can think of negative on my DAC, Now nobody will touch me. Belive they get $5,000 per student it completes thier 3 week training course from the Goverment. Thank You Trans Am for All

- Has any body just been a company driver ( NOT A STUDENT DRIVER) with trans am for more then a year & is still there happley? Im not inrested in leaseing or buying. Just trying to make good MONEY and put food on the table. I can under stand the lease bull shit but hell thats not what im here for. Just trying to find a home. THANKS

- I drove for this company from Jan 06' to July of 07'. I dissagree with all the negativity. I had a gr8 dispatcher, got gr8 miles usualy. Some weeks would only get like 17 or 1800 miles but other weeks i would get as much as 3500 miles. my miles would fluctuate. So far this is the best company Ive ever driven for. Counting TransAm, Ive driven for 5 trucking companies. Im thinking of going back to them. I ran out of their Rocky Mt. Fleet. There Olathe fleet may be different IDK. I had a friend that ran off that fleeet and she loved it. I started out making 30 cpm as a student then got my own truck and was put at 32 cpm after a year w/them i went to 33.5, then after 6 months went up to 34 cpm. When i resigned w/them i was making 34 cpm. I was not always crazy about running the boroughs of NYC. Olathe fleet does not do NYC but Rocky Mt fleet does do NYC. GREAT COMPANY, GREAT MILES.....AAAA COMPANY.

- Beware of TransAm they actually left off two letter in there name (SC) TransScam. Whatever you do do not lease a truck with these crooks. At the time I left I had outstanding settlements one even making a deposit for $0.00 and owed me money. I had outstanding billing issues. The office personel are complete jerkoffs and think a truck driver is a dirt bag and when TansAm gets done with you you will be a dirt bag. The only thing TransAm has to offer is a way for a student to get their 6 months to 1 year experience to grow from a Mickey Mouse company to a real company but do not lease at all with these liars.
