Ever since Transformers were introduced in 1984 it has had a diehard fanbase, for good reason. Who doesn't love the concept of giant transforming robots duking it out. The fate of the earth hanging in the blance. That kind of stuff. If you have no idea what Transformers are, then I'll fll you in. If you are one of the diehard fans I was talking about, then take a look around. I'm sure you will find something of interest .This is the place to come for the lastest news, updates, reviews, and just a good time hanging out with you favorite bots! A Brief History of Transformers 

Transformers was a property created by Hasbro and Takara, based off the already sucsessful Microman and Diaclone toy lines. These characters appeared in 1984 in the United States, with their own toyline, comic book, and T.V. show. The main concept was simple. Two factions, the Autobots and the Decepticons, are waring on their home planet of Cybertron. In the search for more Energon, two rival ships crash on prehistoric Earth. When they awaken in 1984 they take on Earth vehicle modes to blend in. They can easily transform to robot and back. Once again the war is reignited and Earth is the battle field. This series was known as Generation One. Since then it has spawned many cartoons, such as Beast Wars and Robots In Disguise. Many comics have been produced by various companies. Currently these are being done by IDW Publishing. A blockbuster movie was produced with a much anticipated sequel due out this summer. Transformers continues to be one of the best selling and one of the most loved toylines.
