Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (2009)

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is to be released at the cinemas in June 2009; this is my page devoted to the movie and as and when new details are revealed; all will be made available right here.

Read on to find out more about what is set to become the biggest major blockbuster of summer 2009; the second Transformers movie from director Michael Bay. The film shall once more star Shia LaBeouf, Megan Fox, and again feature Peter Cullen as the voice of Optimus Prime. It's a huge budget production and you can rest assured that it'll be supremely visually stunning. Will this be the greatest science fiction film of all time? Only time shall tell.

About Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen

'Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen' is the second Transformers movie from Michael Bay and is to be released in summer 2009. Once more written and directed by the great man that is Michael Bay; 'Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen' looks dead set to be even greater than the first film in the series. It's a big budget affair, and $8 million was in fact spent on the three writers of Roberto Orci, Alex Kurtzman, and Ehren Kruger alone.

Peter Cullen will once more be providing the voice of Optimus Prime, and Shia LaBeouf will again be returning as Sam Witwicky with Megan Fox playing the part of his girlfriend Mikaela Banes for a second time too. The first movie was good; this one however sounds as though it may well be even better.

Roberto Orci has actually announced on the Don Murphy internet forum that this movie will be far more evenly balanced. Rather than seeing things purely from a human perspective; we will get to see things from the point of view of the robots also. The tone is to be very similar, this change in perspective will surely however provide for very interesting viewing indeed.

There will now be more robots than there were with the 2007 film; this alone will surely make the new movie far more exciting, and with far more to feast your eyes on 'Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen' is bound to be absolutely visually spectacular. We know from the first film that the detail was absolutely exquisite; who knows what can be achieved this time with an even bigger budget however.

The standard has been well and truly set with the first movie in 2007; this time however it looks as though all those involved are doing everything in their power to make this movie greater than ever. Supreme special effects are to be expected as we head ever closer towards the summer 2009 release date of 'Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen'.

What could anyone possibly want more than a 13 inch tall Optimus Prime?! I remember the days when I wanted nothing more than to own my very own Optimus Prime (nothing's changed there then); and were this Optimus Prime figure around back then I'm sure my parents would have been told many a time just how much I would have wanted to own this.

The Optimus Prime Transformer figure is for those aged 5 and up, it comes complete with electronic lights and sounds and every last Optimus Prime detail has here been captured to absolute perfection. Whether you wish to put it on display, or give it to your young ones for them to roam around with; this fantastic Transformers figure would be an excellent addition to anyone's collection. Every last intricate detail has here been captured and it's of terrific build quality too; the finest Optimus Prime figure I ever did see.

Incredibly aesthetically pleasing; a terrific job has been done in turning Ironhide into a magnificent 11 inch tall figure. With a weight of 1.1 pounds; this is an incredible figure to look at, supremely detailed, and an absolute pleasure to play with also. Your kids will get hours of entertainment out of this one, or if you're a collector of any age then this one will look absolutely stunning sitting there in your collection.

It has some fab little features such as the missile launchers which can be found on each of the figures arms. It looks stunning, and to see it in action is also an absolute joy to behold. Ironside has been powerfully presented here and this is one action figure that I'd most definitely recommend investing in; it's incredibly detailed and you'll surely not regret the purchase one bit.

Director: Michael Bay

Throughout the nineties Michael Bay directed three popular feature films; those of 'Bad Boys', 'The Rock', and 'Armageddon' also. Since the start of the 2000s he has directed a further four movies and 'Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen' is all set to become his fifth.

I'm a big fan of Michael Bay's 'Bad Boys' movies and also 'Armageddon'; didn't feel that 'The Island' was one of his best however, but thoroughly enjoyed his 2007 Transformers film. I most definitely believe that with 'Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen' Michael Bay can once more pull it out the bag and pull through with another fine Transformers movie.

Michael Bay is a highly talented director; doesn't prolifically churn out movies like some, what he does do however is wait until a truly excellent idea comes along (most of the time) and looks to turn this into an incredible feature film. He's only directed seven films to date but many of them are really very good and as such are well worth watching.

Shia LaBeouf (Sam Witwicky)

I have long followed the work of Shia LaBeouf, I've always been quite a fan tracing right back to his Even Stvens days. More recently he's impressed in such films as 'Disturbia' and of course the first 'Transformers' film also; he's a great little actor and I'm sure that he most definitely has a bright future ahead of him.

He appeared in 'Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull' earlier on in 2008, and as well as the second Transformers movie is also set to feature in 'New York, I Love You' in 2009. Although only 22 years of age his filmography is still quite thick and I'm sure that as the years progress Shia LaBeouf will continue to find much further work without too much difficulty.

Shia LaBeouf is a very talented actor and I very much look forward to seeing him in 'Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen'; there is no doubt in my mind that he will once more put in a performance of the highest possible calibre.

Megan Fox (Mikaela Banes)

Having really hit the big time having appeared in the first Transformers film; Megan Fox is enjoying life as a celebrity and has to date appeared in many a male magazine. Fame and fortune can sometimes come quite easy when you've appeared in such a big budget Hollywood production as the science fiction film Transformers; you have to have the talent in the first place to get chosen however and there's no denying that Megan Fox is a highly talented performer.

Megan Fox is all set to star in the upcoming movie release that is 'Whore'. It's a Thomas Dekker directed drama film and Megan Fox has a couple more productions on the go also. The Transformers film has really kicked Megan Fox into the spotlight and she's now in high demand to appear in many more movie productions in the future.
