Medano Beach, Cabo San Lucas

The best Cabo swimmable beach and water activities

This is the most well known and popular beach. Once used for all of the fishing boats and yachts, it is now mostly filled with swimmers and water activities. The boats have moved to the new marina.

This majestic beach has every water toy rental available that you can imagine. From the high-powered wave runners, to the quiet self-powered sea kayaks this is the place. If you are into running, this beach will give you an uninterrupted 2 miles to stretch your legs on. The waters are calm and safe enough to swim and snorkel.

Lover's Beach

Hard to get to but easy to enjoy

Lover's Beach requires some planning, a boat and the better part of a day. But... boy is it worth it! You will need to hire a boat and captain. You will be given a short tour of the area including the Arch and then be taken to Lovers Beach.

Plan on taking a picnic, some water and plenty of sunscreen. The beach is beautiful on the Pacific and Sea of Cortez side, both. Be sure to swim only on the Sea side, though. As with all of the beaches on the Pacific side, they can be dangerous with riptides and currents. Snorkeling and swimming on the Sea side is the safe way to go.
