Travel Tour To Europe: Tips on an Affordable Vacation

Hello and welcome to my travel tour to Europe lens. Have you ever dreamed of gallivanting around the Old Continent? The charms of Europe await. I just can't ever get enough of the old, cobblestone streets and the quaint, cute little street-side cafes and restaurants. I love living here in North America and I can certainly appreciate the modern conveniences of life in the New World, including the stunningly modern skylines of cities on this side of the pond. But, the picturesque views of historical buildings that you find in Europe always leaves me breathless and wanting more.

Tips and Advice on Travel Tour to Europe

I hope to share some tips I've gained over the last few years I spent traveling to Europe on how to effectively spend your time on the Old Continent, especially if you are pressed for time: the best accommodation, the best methods of transportation, the most charming sights and what's hot. I never lose enthusiasm for this fascinating and multi-layered corner of the world.

Also, I'd like to pass along some tips that may help you save some money. How to find cheaper sleeping options throughout Europe, saving on your food bills and deals for attractions that squeeze the most out of your (not so strong)dollar. Although I will be focusing on Europe in general, I will admit that I have a soft spot for Spain, Portugal and Greece, the warm countries of the south.

PS: I'll post some general info based on my personal travels, but should you want a specific topic covered, don't hesitate to let me know what might interest you the most.

A Reputation that Precedes Itself

A Travel Tour to Europe is a No-Brainer: You are Guaranteed to Have Fun!

London, Edinburgh, Dublin, Paris, Provence, Burgundy, Madrid, Barcelona, Sevilla, Lisbon, the Algarve, Rome, Milan, Florence, Venice, Berlin, Munich, Athens, Mykonos, Santorini and much, much more. Europe has a reputation for history, glamor, vibrant street life, gourmet food, the best of regional products including wine, chocolate, meats and delicious fruits and vegetables, heart-pounding nightlife that only takes off after midnight and plethora of other touristic delights. Let me share my stories and tips for how you can plan your next travel tour to Europe.

I will be posting different ideas for charming itineraries that criss-cross the Continent in search of the attractions that focus your interests the most. Personalizing your travel tour to Europe is essential in order to have a successful trip.

Plan Your Travel Tour To Europe: Transportation and Accommodation

View Over Lisbon, a city that epitomizes the old glory and faded allure and delight of a travel tour to Europe.

I have taken almost every form of transportation back and forth on my travels to Europe: trains, planes, buses, automobiles, ferries and on foot. Your ideal travel tour to Europe will incorporate many of those methods. I want to suggest to people that oftentimes, in this day and age, buses and low-cost airlines represent one of the fastest, cheapest and most reliable methods of transport in Europe, the wonderful train systems of Europe notwithstanding. The only problem with the trains boils down to one word: cost. More to come on this subject later.

Also, I tend to be a hostel and small, family-run hotel person. Contrary to North America and our plethora of expensive, corporate chain hotels, Europe offers a wider variety of decent and affordable sleeping arrangements. Now, that doesn't mean I slept in the grimiest of hostels and shared my room with 20 other people. Quite to the contrary, I've never had to travel like a hobo. I've always enjoyed staying in clean accommodation and much of the time in private rooms. Allow me to let you in a some tips for saving on a bed, which is one of the largest expenses on any given travel tour to Europe.

Affordability and Money Matters: Your Travel Tour to Europe is Within Reach

It doesn't have to be that expensive

Many people assume because the Euro is so expensive that a trip to Europe requires tons of cash. I want to tell people that I've always backpacked and practiced the sometimes delicate art of budget travel over the years, and I've managed to return to Europe year after year, even as a student. The fact is that despite seemingly high prices in touristy areas, no matter where you travel to in the world, there is always a flip side. The locals always know where to go and save. Keep in mind that in many European countries, including some of the more expensive ones like France, salaries are not all that astronomically high in comparison to North America: savings are to be had if you only look far enough.

Now, once again, your own travel tour to Europe will take on various forms and various levels of "luxury." Some people are fine with a more basic trip devoid of too many frills, while others demand more luxury and comfort. This is always up to the individual traveller and it must correspond to your desires and to the resources of your bank account %uF04A

My Travel Philosophy

Now's the Right Time for a Travel Tour to Europe

Our culture here in North America pushes us to work, work, work and achieve, achieve, achieve. That's not always such a bad thing. Each of us takes pride in what we've accomplished for ourselves. But, oftentimes, I find that people really can lose sight of some of the other important things in life. I'm a travel addict. I just can't stop myself and I would be miserable if I did. I have lots of friends that feel the same way, so I know there must be more of you like-minded people out there. I want to encourage you to plan smartly and to be able to take your next travel tour to Europe. It doesn't have to remain a dream, tucked away somewhere in a corner of your mind. Hopefully some of my stories and advice will help you realize those long-anticipated plans and to get the most out of your travel tour to Europe.

Well, I would always recommend taking the time to focus on one country or group of countries. There is always so much more to see in Europe and it's a very dense continent, so it's very easy to overstretch yourself and you really want to make your holiday fun and relaxing as well. One month could have you focused on a large country like France, Spain or Italy or a couple of smaller ones, like Austria, Czech Republic and Hungary. It really all depends upon your particular tastes....

    Hi,
I like your lens and I'll be visiting more often to learn more. Next summer I would like to go to Europe, but I'm not sure which countries to visit first. Just wondering how much can I see in 1 month? Thanks.5*
