    Queretaro is a beautiful colonial city in the heart of Mexico. The streets are wide like boulevards in Europe. There is so much to see in the city and in the outlying areas as well. There is a wine region with lots of wine and cheese tasting and hot-air balloon rides. Then there is Lago Media Luna,in Bernal, Queretaro. It is a crystal clear, lagoon-style lake (Lago Media Luna) fed by seven hot springs. It is very deep in the rainy season and is a popular scuba diving spot.
    Then there is Las Pozas, which are cement orchids built in a forest. It is a site to see. The there is Bernal. Bernal is a small village in the center of the State of Queretaro. Here is one of the largest volcanic plugs in the world. It is very popular with rock climbers.
    Also less than an hours drive is the city of San Miguel de Allende. In San Miguel de Allende you find art galleries, great food, beautiful colonial boutique hotels. For more information about San Miguel de Allende go to:
