Travel To Canada

It was Boxing Day 1991, I'd always wanted to travel to Canada. I was ready, my suit cases were all pack. It was so long ago, I can't even remember who drove me to the airport. A brother probably, anyway that was the first time I went to Canada. Ontario to be exact. The snow was unlike anything I had ever seen before. Living in the UK all my life, I had seen snow. Never as much as I did that Christmas and New Year period of 1991.

What's 1991 got to do with today? I was reading an article about Canada and it reminded that I had been and enjoyed my time there very much. I didn't get around too much, but had fun with friends and family. I went to Toronto to shop, saw Lake Ontario and visited Niagra Falls, (the Canadian side). I took lots of pictures. Oh, we also drove over to Buffalo, I think it took about 5/6 hours - I was stiff.

Back to the article I was reading, it was about an event showcasing Canada in London this July. The event is call Canada Day. I just thought this was a great idea, and maybe other events showcasing other Countries go on and I don't know about them. I'll be attending London's Canada Day Event, looking forward to it. By the way, A belated public thank you the the Canadian Authorities back in 1991. I mentioned the snow back then. It must have been eight inches high, cool and fresh. However I could hop, skip and jump along the pavements (sidewalks). The snow had actually been shovelled to one side, the paths were salted, clear and dry - Great job!! I want to travel to Canada again very soon. I'm leaning towards Quebec.
