Looking To Join a Travel Business? Consider The Importance of Choosing The Right Sponsor
While sponsorship does not mean that your leaders should build the business for you, it does mean that they should provide you with the tools you need to build your business. Your sponsor must have a system in place and an understanding of what it takes to succeed.
You will also want to ask yourself before you join a team: Is your sponsor more concerned with closing the sale, or helping you achieve your goals? Is he a recruiter or a sponsor? What is the difference between a recruiter and a sponsor? It is the difference between "hype" and "help." The sponsor's job begins when you enroll; the recruiter's job is done when you enroll. The goal of the recruiter is to sign up people. The goal of the sponsor is to train leaders.
Prior to me joining my travel business, I never knew anyone that ever did Network Marketing. It was going to be a completely new venture for me with no experience, no knowledge, no friends, and no family that knew anything about Network Marketing.
I was introduced to the business by colleague who had recently signed up with a network marketing company. Her upline had told her that she was supposed to talk to anyone and everyone she came into contact with in public places. I loved the business model, but I had one big problem with this marketing tactic; prospecting strangers makes me feel awkward and uncomfortable.
The thought of hotel meetings, home parties, and talking to people at the post office, grocery store, bank, etc makes me uneasy. I needed to know before signing up with someone in travel business, how they marketed their business. I had to find a mentor who would teach me how to market my new business effectively.
I was lucky enough to find a sponsor who had the same goals and determination as I did, and thought me the secret to successfully marketing my travel business. She had all the above mention qualities that a good sponsor should have.
I soon learned that the way she had succeeded in her business was not through the 3-foot-rule method, the warm name list, hotel meetings, sizzle cards, and cold calling.
Wouldn't you rather learn how to find those qualified prospects without having to talk to them first? Better yet, wouldn't you like to have them finding you instead?
I was introduced to the concept of "Attraction Marketing". Briefly, it is the idea that by providing valuable information to others, you will have prospects contacting you to join your business.
I quickly discovered that "not everyone is your prospect". Not everyone has the time it takes to build a business. Some people don't have the patience. Others don't have the money. The fact is there are people in the world who want to own a business, and those that are happy with their 9 to 5 job.
I started implementing the techniques I had learned, and sure enough, I had potential clients contacting me regularly. I had people joining my YTB business without ever speaking with me.
Is a Travel BusinessThe Right Opportunity For You? Read This Before You Join
I wanted to know what the REAL deal was, and that is why I began writing on this blog . I want those of you who are looking at the travel business opportunity to have REAL information that will help you make an informed decision- regardless of whose team you ultimately join. No sales pitch here (I probably couldn't make a decent one if I tried...) With that said:
Before I joined I read through every letter in the Rep and RTA agreements, I looked at the company's financial information, and I read everything I could get my hands on about my travel businessl, the leaders, the top money earners, you name it. So, if your sole issue is whether my travel business is legitimate- I can only speak as to what I've seen and experienced

My Network Marketing Business and The Renegade Network Marketer
Have you read the The Renegade Network Marketer eBook? Isn't it awesome and you feel you are totally ready to apply this whole new concept of building your network marketing business by attracting people to you instead of chasing them? BUT there is one obstacle on the way - you really don't know where to start or what to really do?
OK. Well if you continue reading then you answered - "YES I am ready, but certainly disoriented".
No worries! That was me too in the beginning when I read The Renegade Network Marketer. I totally saw the enormous potential to make my YTB business grow here with this whole new attraction-base, solution provider based educational network marketing business model but really did not know how to make it work for me. I didn't know where to start and what to do.
I figured it out and that's what I am going to show you too. I will let you have access to my step by step orientation class and you don't have to pay me a dime.
Before you begin you must understand something - if you are really ready to turn your business and your results completely around, not only that but also increase the pleasure of the process of enrolling people (because it really becomes fun when people come to you and want to join you and you don't have to chase and beg them) you must know that it will still take time and effort on your behalf. BUT your efforts will be 100% much more rewarding when you have a business plan and follow this "NEW" business building marketing concept.
Are you ready to create your travel business plan and follow it and track your success along the way?

Why Choose A Travel Business?
Several people have asked me, when faced with so many home based business opportunities, why it is that I chose a travel business. My decision was based on two things: the facts and a brutal assessment of my personal weaknesses.First, the facts.
1. The travel industry pulls in approximately $1.3 trillion annually in the United States alone. That figure leaps to $7 trillion when measured worldwide.
2. Four significant trends:
Trend One: There are almost 1 billion baby boomers worldwide. One person every eight seconds reaches retirement age. This trend will continue for the next 20 years. So what? What will these newly retired baby boomers do when they retire? Travel, of course!
Trend Two: The travel industry is growing 23% faster than the global economy. That means that travel is expected to double to $14 trillion worldwide in the next 10 years.
Trend Three: The growth of E-Commerce. Consumers last year spent billions of dollars on the Internet. Travel is the fastest growing segment of that trend.
Trend Four: Statistics show that small and home-based businesses are the fastest growing segment of the U.S. economy. With large companies outsourcing and downsizing, people are turning to home based businesses to provide them with job security.
Now, to my personal weaknesses.
I can admit that I am far from perfect. I recognize that while some can sell ice cubes to an Eskimo, I'd rather hide out in an igloo. Having my own online travel booking engine eliminated the need for me to host parties, send out catalogues, or purchase potions, lotions and pills. Don't get me wrong, there is absolutely nothing wrong with that, it just wasn't for me.
The thought of being demoted because I did not make a sales quota made me shudder. And I got sick to my stomach at the thought of asking my friends and family to buy products which could be bought elsewhere for less, out of guilt (or pity).
My friends and family already travel, so I am not asking them to do anything out of the ordinary. My website typically offers the same price or lower, so by booking with me they are getting the same deal or better. Plus, unlike other travel sites, I earn 60% of the commission when anybody books on my site.
Not to mention-the my travel business was affordable, the training second-to-none, and I can grow my business on the Internet.

The ABCs of Making Money
INTERNATIONAL BEST SELLER
"The ABC's of Making Money" Recommends YTB.
After reviewing and analyzing thousands of business opportunities around the world, we have found only 2 companies that score 15 out of 15 on our scale.
Since making this recommendation we have been inundated by companies touting their wealth building ideas. Unfortunately, none has measured up on our scale.
We are now able to recommend a second, and in our opinion, even better opportunity. YTB a solidly based eight -year old company
