Traylor Howard is an actress who is best known for her TV roles in Two Guys, a Girl and a Pizza Place, and Monk.

There was some controversy when her character Natalie replaced Sharona on Monk (who's your favorite?), but I think it really worked!

Unfortunately the LAST season of Monk has now finished. What will be next for Traylor? She has apparently been cast in a CBS sitcom pilot. Stay tuned!

Traylor's first TV role was in a Juicy Fruit commercial when she was at prep school. She left the acting world behind for a while and graduated with a degree in Communications and Advertising from Florida State University.

An actor boyfriend reintroduced her to acting and she appeared in a number of TV shows and movies. Her biggest role was that of Sharon in Two Guys, a Girl and a Pizza Place (later shortened to two Guys and a Girl) with Ryan Reynolds.

In 2005 she was cast as Natalie Teeger, the assistant of the OCD detective Adrian Monk.

She has been married twice and was rumored to have been going out with George Clooney for a while. She has a son, Sabu.

Son of the Mask

Son of the Mask is a 2005 American fantasy family-comedy film directed by Lawrence Guterman, starring Jamie Kennedy as Tim Avery, an aspiring cartoonist from Fringe City who has just had his first child born with the powers of the Mask. It is the stand-alone sequel to the successful 1994 film The Mask, an adaptation of Dark Horse Comics which starred Jim Carrey. The film had an $84 million budget and $57.6 million worldwide box office gross.

It also stars Alan Cumming as the god of mischief, Loki, whom Odin has ordered to find the Mask. It co-stars Traylor Howard, Kal Penn, Steven Wright, and Bob Hoskins as Odin. Ben Stein makes a quick reappearance as Dr. Arthur Neuman from The Mask to reestablish the relationship with the mask and Loki. The film was widely panned by critics. It won the Golden Raspberry Award for Worst Remake or Sequel.
Unlike the first film which was more adult oriented, this film is a family film as the tone is much lighter and more comical than the first one's.

Monk

Monk is an American comedy-drama detective mystery television series created by Andy Breckman and starring Tony Shalhoub as the titular character, Adrian Monk. It originally ran from 2002 to 2009 and is primarily a mystery series, although it has dark and comic touches.

The series debuted on July 12, 2002, on USA Network. It was well received and continued for eight seasons, with the final season concluding on December 4, 2009. The series currently holds the record for the most watched scripted drama episode in cable television history, a record previously held by The Closer. Monk set the record with "Mr. Monk and the End - Part II", its series finale, with 9.4 million viewers; 3.2 million of them in the 18-49 demographic.

Natalie Teeger

Natalie J. Teeger is a fictional character on the American crime drama Monk. She becomes Adrian Monk's personal assistant midway through the third season of the show. She is portrayed by Traylor Howard.

Traylor Howard was introduced after USA Network released actress Bitty Schram, who portrayed Sharona Fleming, mid-way through the show's third season, stating they wanted to take the character in new directions. Natalie was hence introduced in the role of Monk's assistant to fill in the void left by Schram's departure.

Natalie's my favorite. I missed Sharona a lot when she left, but Natalie really made it her own. Great writing, great acting. I think Sharona's constant disapproval of Adrian was a source of comic relief that the show needed so the audience could tolerate him. Natalie accepted him and supported him episodes after episode.

I follow way too much TV, (no cable) but not unlike Adrian, I am quite particular as to what I let touch my mind. I can only become engaged in the re-runs that were shot with the character 'Natalie'. Maybe it's me, but Traylor Howard made the series click. That gal carries within her some sort of aura, a twinkle or spark, a gift from the Gods that exudes and shines pure magic. Jerry Lee Lewis said it best. "She has a giggle in her talk, and a wiggle in her walk. She makes the world go 'round,'round,'round!"
