Treatment of cystic acne scars
Treatment of cystic acne scars
Oh no! Another acne scar?
Even when you do find one, the seldom work and often just make the area redder than before.
After years of searching, I have found that there is a way to treat cystic acne scars that is both very inexpensive and fast.
The concept behind treating a scar is that new skin has to develop naturally to replace the scarred skin. This is why if you go to dermatologists they will often recommend skin abrasion, in which they sandblast your skin.
This can be very expensive, painful and often will not produce the desired results. It is however, the quickest method.
Now, doing it the natural way is much simpler. The 2 main tools is to gently abrade the skin using whichever method you want. Some people choose to mix aspirin and vinegar together and gently rub the area with a cue-tip or a *soft* toothbrush.
Others may apply a mask. The method doesn't really matter, as long as you are exfoliating your skin naturally.
Then, you must provide your body with the tools to rebuild your skin. This is the most overlooked aspect of treating cystic acne scars and it is unfortunate.
First, the skin renews itself when you sleep. So you MUST get proper sleep. It is recommended that you get to sleep earlier than usual and sleep approximately 8 hours to ensure proper skin repair.
Then, you must provide your body with the essential building blocks, that is: proteins.
Finally, keep in mind that both Vitamin C & Vitamin E have been known to aid in skin repair.
Lastly, get at least 15 minutes of sun per day.
Sun will regenerate your body and increase cell activity. New studies coming out on sun light show that getting 15 minutes per day is very beneficial.
