- I had a tree house when I was 8 that my dad helped me build. Since then, I've build over 100 tree houses through Tree Top Builders, Inc. I've learned that there's so much more to building a good treehouse than my dad and I knew back then. I've built treehouses 65 feet high, some that are big enough to live in, some with electricity and/or plumbing, but most of them are simpler retreats for children of all ages.
