Treo: User Recommended Software & Accessories

So, I love my my Treo phone, but sometimes I think that the developers at Palm never use their own product before releasing it to the public. Otherwise, how can you explain some of these really annoying features:

1. LED - The constantly flashing LED that you cannot turn off (unless you install third party freeware, see above);

2. Task List - did you notice that tasks synced from outlook generate an alarm that cannot be turned off? I had to stop syncing my task list...

3. Alarms - did you notice that the alarm clock only let's you select a small number of wake-up alarms, even though other applications have many more built-in tones?

4. Ring Tones - did you notice that you cannot program different ring tones for different users / user groups? Are you kidding me? Every basic phone has had this feature for about 5 years.

5. Phone Off After Reset? Why not fix this annoying little bug that third party freeware easily fixes?

6. Real Player is the worst MP3 player on the planet? Or is it normal that you can't search for specific songs? I mean, come on!

Six easily fixable problems, straight off the top of my head. Don't get me wrong: I think that the TREO is the best smart phone on the market, but it could be so much better with just a little bit of THINKING!
