This is what was suggested to me by Get Her Back For Good:
1. Take a short break.
I had already broken this rule. Turns out your supposed to take about a month off from contact. I had only sent her further away. This was the biggest uphill battle, but one I eventually ended up correcting.
2. Socialize:
It took a long time for my friends to convince me to go out again, but it seemed they were right to suggest this. It was exactly what I needed. Plus, it also helped me get over some of the heartache, if only for a night or two.
3. Change From Within:
This was the biggest thing that got my girl back. I had time to think over the relationship and figure out what caused it to get messed up. Without actually committing to making the right fixes about myself my girl would never have come back to me.
