Infinia Corporation Continues To Attract Premier Leadership Expands Its Executive Team, October 2008
Infinia Corporation (http://www.infiniacorp.com/) announced the expansion of its senior management team to include three accomplished executives. Patrick Rooney has joined as Chief Accounting Officer, Gabriel (Gaby) Tashjian has joined as Vice President of Commercial Operations and Managing Director, Asia, Africa and the Middle East, and Howard Monk has joined as Vice President of Operations.

Joint Venture in Washington State To Produce Potato Products - Expansion Management, August 28, 2008
ConAgra Foods Lamb Weston and Ochoa Foods announced that they have entered into a new joint venture.  The two companies will form a 50/50 joint venture to operate Ochoa Foods' current processing plant in Warden, WA.

King Beverage is the new owner of Fluor's Industrial Building in Pasco, WA - August 26, 2008
On Wednesday, August 20, King Beverage inked a deal with Fluor to become the new owner of Fluor's Industrial Building that sits on a 16-acre site in the Pasco Processing Center.  King Beverage also will occupy about a third of the 103,500-square-foot building that has two tenants leasing the other two thirds of the facility: FedEx Ground and the Galt Development Company that owns Ashley Furniture and Sleep City USA.

Tri-Cities' Cost of Living Lowest in Washington State - Tri-City Herald, Tuesday, May 20, 2008
The first quarter report gives the Tri-Cities a 91.1 composite rating, the state's lowest. In contrast, Spokane's index rating was 92.5 and Yakima's 96.7. The index, compiled by the Council for Community and Economic Research, measures relative price levels for consumer goods and services.

Research Collaboration Seeks Blood Test for Aggressive Breast Cancer - Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, April 16, 2008
Mammography and biopsies help find breast cancer, but even biopsies won't tell the doctor if the cancer will spread.  Now, a two-year research project hopes to find proteins in blood that could alert doctors to patients harboring not just breast cancer, but the nastiest versions of the disease. The project takes advantage of one of the most comprehensive collections of breast cancer clinical samples, located at the Walter Reed-Windber Clinical Breast Care Project in Washington, D.C. and Windber, Penn., and advanced proteomics technology at the Department of Energy's Pacific Northwest National Laboratory in Richland, Wash.

State Potato Conference Relocates to the Tri-Cities - Tri-City Herald, Saturday, April 12, 2008
After 47 years in Moses Lake, the Washington State Potato Conference will move to the Tri-Cities for its 2009 conference.  The board voted this week to relocate the 2009 conference, to be held Jan. 26-28, to the Tri-Cities Convention Center in Kennewick.
