Trimble is a rather unique technology company. For those unaware of what GPS is, it's basically of way of using satellites to pinpoint your exact location. Wide Area Augmentation System (WAAS) is another method for making GPS technology more accurate. It was originally put forth by the FAA to make airplane navigation, takeoffs, and landings safer. Trimble produces a number of field computers, with and without GPS receivers built in. Models that include GPS receivers include the GeoXH handheld, the GeoXT handheld, the GeoXM handheld, the Nomad G Series, the Juno SC handheld the Juno SB handheld, and the GPS XC Edition. GPS receivers only include the models GPS Pathfinder ProXRT receiver, the GPS Pathfinder ProXH receiver, the GPS Pathfinder ProXT receiver and the GPS Pathfinder XC receiver. Additional devices to support the use of handheld field computers, include the Hurricane Antenna, the Zephyr Antenna, and the Zephyr Model 2 Antenna.
