Tri-Valley, California is comprised of three adjacent valleys - Amador, Livermore & San Ramon. These valleys are located on the eastern side of the San Francisco Bay Hills and are home to the beautiful cities of Pleasanton, Livermore, Dublin, San Ramon and the town of Danville.

- THE OLDEST WINE REGION IN CALIFORNIA!
Did you know that the roots of California wine were planted in Livermore Valley? Robert Livermore is said to have planted the first vines of Mission grapes around 1840. By the 1880s commercial wine production became a prominent industry.
The first Grand Prix award for a U.S. wine was won at the 1889 Paris Exposition with a Cresta Blanca Sauterne. Cresta Blanca Winery, owned by Charles Wetmore, was located where Wente Vineyards currently has its golf course and restaurant. Both Wente Vineyards and Concannon Vineyard were established in 1883 and are still prominent among the Livermore Valley winegrowers. While Prohibition led to the demise of most of Tri-Valley wineries, Concannon and Wente rebounded and went on to lead the way to the rebirth of the Livermore Valley Wine appellation and its current 40 award-winning wineries. - Free Wine Tasting! With the PGA & LPGA Tours choosing Tri-Valley, California as one of its Nationwide Tournament hosts, Tri-Valley golf scene is officially on the map. All of our cities have driving ranges and a large choice of public and private clubs.
You can play at the Greg Norman designed Course at Wente Vineyard, watch the sun set over rolling hills at Poppy Ridge Golf Course, or try out the area's newest course at Callippe Preserve. Many of Tri-Valley, California's golf courses also have banquet facilities, perfect for a wedding or business convention. The courses also boast wonderful restaurants ranging from sports bars to gourmet, making them ideal for enjoying a romantic evening or sharing golf stories with a group.
