A Business Opportunity that Delivers...

The "Roots" of TriVita
Who is behind the company?
TriVita, Inc. is a health and wellness company based out of Scottsdale, Arizona that was created in 1999 by Michael Ellison and Barry Borthistle.
Each of the co-founders brought their own strengths to the program.
Michael Ellison had a strong broadcasting background which lead to the development of the Ellison Media Company. Through this company, Michael was able to work with small organizations to establish media ministries in the United States, as well as other countries such as Australia, Canada, and parts of Africa, Latin America and Europe.
At this time the company still remains a busy media production giant with clients such as GE, Disney and Motorola, and houses the production studios for TriVita's media program.
Barry Borthistle was a successful developer of four independent direct sales business with 25 years experience in marketing leadership when he joined forces with Michael Ellison to create TriVita. His experience in Company Start-Up earned him several prominent awards including the Winston Churchill Award and the Price-Waterhouse Recognition for New Start-Up Companies in 1996. He has also served as the corporate President of an international $200 million marketing company and has served in the Board of Directors of the Direct Sales Association of Canada (where he is from).
The base concept that Michael Ellison and Barry Borthistle built TriVita on was the idea of delivering quality nutritional products and wellness services that support the whole person- physically, emotionally and spiritually and that's still the mantra of the company today.
Each product is made under the strictest quality controls in the nutritional supplement industry and all manufacturing and laboratory processes meet or exceed the most current Good Manufacturing Practices as published by the Food and Drug Administration in March 2003.
In short, though Borthistle seems to have become a lesser part of the company ownership but a more active part in training sessions in his native Canada, the company is in very capable hands with Michael Ellison, we are talking about a company founded by credible marketing moguls with credible and unquestionably top notch health products.

All Trivita products are top quality and all natural. They are tried, tested and proven health products on the market and that is something that is an area where a lot of companies fail.

Secondly, the business model. It differs from any and everything else out there and, of course, all for the better...
In the case of direct sales businesses, a business associate usually only makes a percentage of income off of the products they personally sell, whereas with network marketing, an associate makes money off the introduction of a new sales associate to the business.
Ultimately, these 2 business models are flawed since they don't take into consideration that not everyone that joins is necessarily good at marketing and THAT is where Trivita differs.

Customer and Team Building Bonuses are designed to help reward Business Affiliates and to recoup the acquisition costs of finding and introducing new Customers, Affiliates and Business Affiliates to TriVita. There are 4 types of Customer and Team Building Bonuses.
1. Personally Acquired Customer (PAC) Bonus - When you personally enroll a Customer you are eligible to receive a 70% bonus on the Retail Value of the product in your Customer's first order.
2. Media Acquisition Program (MAP) Bonus - When you participate in MAP you are eligible to receive a 40% bonus on the Retail Value of the product in your MAP contacts' first re-order.
In addition, you are eligible to earn a 10% bonus on the first re-order from any MAP contacts acquired by your personally enrolled Business Affiliates (your downline's customers).
3. Affiliate Referral Bonus- When an Affiliate you have enrolled refers someone, you earn a 40% bonus on the RV of the product in the new Customer's first order.
4. Coded Business Pack Bonus- Pays on the purchase of either the $500 Basic Pack or the $1750 Complete Pack
Only pays to Enroller BAs that have purchased the Basic Pack or the Complete Pack
$25 is paid to the closest Placement Director on the purchase of the Basic or Complete Pack. Only pays to Placement Directors that have purchased the Basic Pack or the Complete Pack.
Before getting into what Dynamic Compression is, it's important to understand that there are differet affiliate ranks that one may progress through in this business. We call this the "business affiliate career path":
To create the most efficient payout in both uni-levels, TriVita's Reciprocity Rewards Compensation Plan features a process that ensures maximum payout of residual commissions. This process is called Dynamic Compression. Dynamic Compression pays out each Tier in both Uni-levels by searching a Customer, Affiliate or Business Affiliate's upline until it finds a Business Affiliate that is qualified to earn the commission. With Dynamic Compression you could potentially receive a double or triple payout on one order!
Additionally, the Customer Uni-level is the base on which your TriVita Career Path is founded. Director Bonus (DB)
As a Director you earn an additional 4% of the RV of all Business Affiliate orders down through your entire organization to the first Director.
1 Star Director Bonus (1DB)

The Presidential Generational Bonus pays 1% on the Reward Value of all sales in a Presidential Director's organization and pays through 4 generations of Presidential Directors.
Understanding Affiliate Ranking

The Customer: Customers are people that simply join TriVita to utilize the products. Should they decide to refer a friend to the business, they would not be compensated for that referral. Instead, that referral would be dynamically compressed to be included on the first level of the referring customers sponsor.
Cost of joining is simply the cost of product purchase
Affiliates: Affiliates are people who sign up with the free online Affiliate Referral Kit and submit an Affiliate Application.
Cost of joining is a set up fee of $25 and you get no access to referral tools or anything.
If you maintain a personal monthly order of 20 Vita Points (VP) however, you can earn 21% of the Reward Value (RV) of each sale that comes from a person that you refer to TriVita.
Sales volume from all Affiliate orders pays in the Customer Uni-level (read about the compensation plan below for details).
Business Affiliates: Business Affiliates are people that have purchased either the Stead Fast Premier Pack, Stead Fast Pro Pack, or the Stead Fast Basic Pack. Sales volume from all Business Affiliate orders pays in the Business Affiliate Uni-level (read compensation section below for details).

- Oops! I should also mention that as of right now, this lens is a bit outdated... TriVita recently changed the sign up process, so ALL affiliates now sign up by simply adding at least 1 bottle of the Nopalea product on autoship- steadfast packs no longer exist. Hopefully I can get this lens back up to date some time today. ;)

- Hi Erik,
There are not "perfect spots" to be placed with TriVita... Really all that is important is having the right sponsor to keep you up to date with any company announcements, answer any questions you might have and lead you in the right direction with advertising. :)
You absolutely have a choice where you are placed. There is no forced placement. There is, however, a need to be cautious with your sign up procedure if you are a current customer of TriVita. As a current customer, that means you are tied to an affiliate in the system already and if you were to sign up without requesting a change of sponsorship, you would remain tied to them.
I do the placements for anyone I bring into the business and I like to "team build" which means I do place new incoming affiliates with a teammate sometimes as opposed to myself, but I always ask newcomers if that is ok with them before making the assignment. :)

As in other compamies it makes such a huge difference in your success! not only where you are placed but also which team you end up with!! Also would like to know if you place your people or does the computer system? Thanks for your time.
