About Trollbeads
Trollbeads tell a story

Trollbeads is unique jewelry. Each bead has its own little history, taking its inspiration from mythology, astrology, fairy tales, fauna, flora, cultural diversity, and last but certainly not least, in the familiar things of everyday living.
What is most distinctive about Trollbeads, apart from the original design, is the use and combination of fascinating materials. The beads are made from the highest quality raw materials including sterling silver, 18 karat gold, Italian Murano glass, natural pearls and precious stones.
The original models are typically created in hard modeling wax cast and finished in metal. Some models are then set with stones. And other models are created directly in molten, red-hot glass.
The concept of Trollbeads charms was developed over the past 30 years. Today, eighteen Danish and internationally renowned jewelry designers create the beads. There are more than 200 different models. The full collection can always be viewed at www.lundtrading.com
Tell your own story create your own jewelry.
The many different symbols, flowers, animals, zodiac signs, colors and materials offer you endless variations and combinations, making the jewelry both unique and personal. You can start with just one bead or be bold and begin with a collection. The beads can be worn on a silver or gold chain as a bracelet or necklace.
Create your own charm over time wish for Trollbeads, it gives others the opportunity to be part of your story.
Trollbeads have won international artistic recognition and have recently been exhibited at Sculpture Objects & Functional Art in Chicago and New York.

Creating a Wish List
You can create a wishlist on the Trollbeadsus.com website

One of the things that I love so much about the Trollbeads line, is that the company gives you so many tools to work with. My favorite tool is the card catalog to track your customers and their purchases and wishlist.
Each customer can make a list of the beads that they want to add to their jewelry, and keep it at the store for their husbands, friends and relatives to come in and buy for them for special occasions. This way they can get EXACTLY what they want and their loved ones can know what to buy for them.

Retired beads are just that, retired and no longer available. You can search online as they are collector's items and some can still be found from time to time. Good luck searching.
Please explain how the Trollbeads concept works?
Each bead, in the Trollbeads collection, tells a unique story. You can design your bracelet by selecting beads that have special meaning for you, and in that way create your own personal story.
First select the proper bracelet size (see below) Then visit our pricelist pages and click on the individual beads to find the ones that you like. A full bracelet can hold between 16 and 18 beads.
Lastly, visit either a store in your neighborhood or an online store to purchase your bracelet and beads.
How do I determine the proper bracelet size?
When measuring for bracelets, measure tightly where your wrist is broadest and add 2 cm or about 1 inch. This will allow enough slack to add beads and fill your bracelet.

We recommend that you clean your beads with a silver polishing cloth. Do not use any cleaning solution that will remove the oxidation of the beads or bracelets, such as liquid silver polish.
Are Trollbeads guaranteed?
Trollbeads offers a 100% guarantee on all products.
One of my beads came in two parts. Is it broken?
No your bead is not broken. There are a couple Trollbeads that are intentionally designed to be in two parts. 11429, Bead of Fortune, is a two part bead that tells a fortune. Depending on how the bead lines up is how your fortune is told. 12908, Little Princess, is a fantasy pendent that is in two parts. Her crown moves slightly as she tilts her head.
How do the scroll beads work? Are they engraved?
No these beads do not come already engraved. The scrolls, big and little, are meant to be engraved by you. The scroll, little can hold up to 10 characters on 10 lines equaling 100 words to engrave. The scroll, big can hold up to 13 characters on 10 lines equaling 130 words to engrave. Create your own personal message or write one for the one you love.

Trollbeads are Artist Crafted
Each Trollbead is Created by an Individual Artist

All of the beads, clasps, and other components are artist crafted. Each bead has a name, a story, and the artist's name so you can find out more about both the creation of the bead and the artist who created it.
They are hand designed, so they fit right into the collection of fine art and fine craft that I carry in my store. They are truly collectible in the way all fine art is. Each bead is literally a work of art.

Meet the Artists Who Create Trollbeads
Artists design each bead and many of the beads are made individually

"The inspiration for my beads often comes from my world travels. They often mirror a detail from another culture. I have always loved all forms of beads, their history and the details surrounding the production. Today I work with development and production of glass beads. The glass and the silver compliment each other so beautifully." Lise Aagaard

Autumn Trollbead
A Personal Favorite

This bead to the left is one of my personal favorites. It is called Autumn. There is a bead for each of the other seasons also. This particular bead is such a beautiful combination of glass and silver, it is just gorgeous. And just so you know the beads look even better in person.

The Personal Touch of Three Generations

"It's very exiting for me to be to be a part of Trollbeads. Especially since I'm a part of the third generation of Trollbead artists in my family. There is all this history to Trollbeads that I get to be a part of. When I make a Trollbead, I try to give it life. There has to be a reason for the Trollbead to exist. To me Trollbeads are not just jewelry; every single Trollbead has a life, a soul and a history." Nicolas Aagaard

I can't even imagine picking just one favorite bead!! There are just way too many to choose from. If I had to pick I would say that I am really drawn to the the Chakra beads or the other beads in the Glass II collection. I especially love Golden Cave and Silver Mountain. I am definitely adicted!
