All the basics about the Trombone, its music and who plays it

If you are starting out learning about the Trombone then How To Play Trombone should be a great resource to get you acquainted with the instrument, trombone music and trombone players.

The trombone is a versatile instrument with music composed for it ranging from classical to jazz. One of the most famous trombone players in modern times is Trombone Shorty. His proper name is Troy Andrews and he has developed a reputation as a leading trombone player.

The Trombone is an old instrument. The design of the Trombone dates back to at least the Middle Ages in Europe where Medieval Trombone evolved from and instrument known as the Sackbut. The design of the modern trombone began in 1498 when Hans Neuschel of Nuremberg made design changes to the bore and operating mechanism.

Many of people of course say "I would love to learn how to play trombone" and do nothing about it. That is such a shame because playing the trombone is an achievement and it can only be done by taking taking that very first step. Hopefully the information here will inspire you to do that because we certainly don't want to hear the sad trombone do we!
