There are many different kinds of tropical flowers available to you. Here are some of the more common and easy to find ones. If you choose a fragrant flower, you will have the added bonus of being reminded of your wedding day every time you are around them.

These are very exotic and wax like in their perfection. They are wonderful in larger arrangements, but can overtake a smaller one.

They come in pink, red, white, orange and can also have green striations. They can be made into a very formal or simple design.

These are the epitome of the tropical flower. They are easy to order and keep and look great in many different arrangements.

You can use them in a simple bouquet or create very elaborate designs for a table or the wedding itself. They can come in many colors and look great with some greenery.

Orchids are a very traditional wedding flower. Once only for those with a large budget, you can now easily order them yourself to make an arrangement. They also smell great.

Wedding orchids are often seen in bridal flowers, boutonnieres, leis, wreaths, and table arrangements. They come in many different colors and varieties, so there is one for everyone.

Gingers are a very architectural flower. They come in many sizes and colors and are easy to place into arrangements.

They offer many different colors and are wonderful for a symmetrical arrangement. They easily offer height for your design.

Many different varieties can be found, and some of the best come from Australia. You can also order them from Hawaii directly from the growers.

Heliconia are another very architectural flower. They come in different colors and are very easy to arrange with.

These are usually large and colorful flowers. They make a wonderful focal point for a bouquet or arrangement. Use them on a table to add height and interest. They come in yellow, red, orange and green and blend well with other tropicals and non tropicals alike.

These flowers are not only beautiful, but they are incredibly fragrant, as well. With their wonderful smell and beauty, they are perfect for a Hawaiian lei or Haku (wreath for the head).

They are also very colorful, ranging from yellows to pinks. If you want them to be most fragrant, use plants at night or in the evening.

Although these are incredibly beautiful and remind most of the tropics, they aren't the ideal wedding flower. They usually only last one day and are difficult to keep freshe when shipping.

If you are having a destination wedding, or are able to pick them when you will be using them, they will work well for your arrangements.

You can easily order your flowers for your wedding and make your arrangements. If you have a friend or family member who is particularly creative, they can make the arrangement for you as a gift. This is a great way to really save some money and still use the flowers that cost more.

If you don't have the time or inclination to make your own, you can order from a local florist. They will cost quite a bit for the tropical flowers, though.

Your third option comes in between these two. You can order the pre-made arrangements from a company in Hawaii that is the grower. You cut out the middle man, have the flower arrangements made for you professionally and still save quite a bit of money. They will also last for quite a while since the arrangements are made right after picking the flowers.
