- It's great to have an insurance expert on Squidoo (who writes well, too!). I look forward to learning more from your lenses. It's very difficult to know whether the agent you're talking to is selling you just what you need and not more, or just selling you everything under the sun, so it's good to read advice from a third party.

- You've all seen it - how people have been destroyed by a fire in their apartment. No one comes to their rescue like an insurance company can after you lose a home that's insured. You see those poor people on the street or in shelters with absolutely nothing but the clothes on their backs. As renters you have a chance to keep your independence and purchase a little piece of mind. Before I bought a home, renters insurance certainly did that for me and it wasn't expensive. There were days I would go out to lunch or dinner & spend more than that on 1 meal!!! Do yourself a favor and get a quote, not next week or next month, just do it now.
