More About Aspartame and Why it's Harmful to Your Health

Aspartame was first 'discovered' in 1965 by Searle, a drug company based in Chicago. The FDA finally approved aspartame in 1981, even though scientific research had clearly shown that aspartame caused brain cancer in lab animals. The dangers of aspartame poisoning have been a well guarded secret since the 1980s. Aspartame is an artificial sweetener that reduces the level of serotonin in the body and contains no ethanol or pectin, therefore the methanol is converted to formaldehyde and formic acid.

So why you haven't heard about aspartame poisoning before? Well, that's because the diet industry is worth trillions of dollars to corporations, and they want to protect their profits by hiding the truth from the public. Nowadays, you can't walk into a convenience store, grocery store or restaurant without being offered a dose of aspartame. Aspartame is in over 6,000 grocery store products and in addition to causing cancer, aspartame also causes many other health problems including epilepsy, migraines, diabetes, obesity, brain disorders, ADHD, ADD, MS, etc.

Dr. J.H. Roberts is a diabetic specialist and world re-noun expert on Aspartame Poisoning. He has done extensive research on aspartame and has written several books about this dangerous and deadly substance. After extensive research, he concluded that aspartame poisoning is escalating Alzheimer's Disease and if you suffer from any of the following symptoms such as fibromyalgia, spasms, shooting, pains, numbness in your legs, cramps, vertigo, dizziness, headaches, Tinnitus, joint pain, unexplainable depression, anxiety attacks, slurred speech, blurred vision, or memory loss you probably have Aspartame poisoning. Aspartame consumption has also been linked to migraines and seizures as well as misdiagnosed as Multiple Sclerosis and has even been shown to lead to cancer.

Aspartame Disease is partially the cause of what is now known to be (Gulf War Syndrome). It has now come to light that the service men and women drank aspartame which is in soda and diet soda all day long while serving in the Middle East and as a result, have the exact same symptoms as those with aspartame poisoning. After more than twenty years of aspartame use, the number of its victims are rapidly piling up, and people are figuring out for themselves that aspartame is at the root of their health problems.

There are 92 documented symptoms of Aspartame Poisoning leading to coma and death. It mimics a wide range of health problems and most people don't realize that it is stored in your body fat, especially around in the hip and thighs. It is particularly harmful to children and the developing fetus and contains little or no nutrients which may protect against chronic methanol poisoning.

If you think you have aspartame poisoning, get rid of all aspartame products in your home. Register a complaint with the FDA, the FAA, the NutraSweet Company about aspartame poisoning. When shopping at the grocery store, stay away from products that say "sugar free" or "made with Splenda". Buy regular sugar, organic sugar or the zero calorie sweetener alternative (Stevia). Tell your doctor about the scientific research available proving the negative side effects of aspartame so he or she is aware and know what to look for in patients.

Recovery from Aspartame Disease is a slow process and begins with detoxifying your body of all residual chemical toxins. You can assist your body in ridding toxins naturally by eating a healthy, organic diet, drinking lots of water, taking a daily multi-vitamin and getting regular exercise.

How can anyone be sure about the all-nature (from leaf) sweeteners right now either. Sure, they are from nature, but I think there should be more studies before they are widely adopted. For me I'll take plain old sugar. :)

ASPARTAME was first invented for people with diabetes, the sad part is knowing all the side effects this sweetner has, diabetics had probably a chance of having a better quality of life and less complications if they kept using sugar instead. Unfortunatly people used it for weight loss during their diet but the problem was that they probably failed in loosing weight because of aspartame. If you have taking it before do a master cleanse or a water fast, and use stevia. http://www.cure4us.com

It is sad but true. Last September, after being on a diet (that worked great by the way, I lost 50 lbs.) but was only able to have splenda with my meals and coffee, I came down with what I now highly suspect was aspartame poisoning. I went to numerous doctors and had many test done. Thank God and praise God, the doctors did not find anything wrong with me after running many blood tests, mri's, xrays, etc. Because I read an article like this one, I totally stopped the splenda and within a few weeks to a month I was feeling better. I will never touch the stuff again and exort everyone to stay off of it. Use brown sugar, honey or agave instead. God bless and be well!

I got it bad, by super heating russian tea Mix.with (sugar free tea) with (Sweet & low) to add more sweetness. I have heard that when you microwave a drink, like tea or coffee, it turns the aspertane into a chemical like into anti-freesze. My hands swelled as large as if I had on gloves. my feet felt thick, Thick splotches around hips and sides. Gums sore also. I thought my partial was needing adjusting. Ha. Been clean for 3 weeks now. have bad spells at night. covered with gold bond powder, but still iched..

I totally agree about aspartame. I've always avoided artificial sweeteners, and now I check to make sure aspartame is not in the products I buy. Sometimes it's in things you wouldn't think to check - like my child's vitamins! I avoid it like the plague.
