How to Make the Most of Your Time Spent On Traffic Swarm
Helpful Tips For Using Traffic Swarm Effectively
Avoid Some of the Mistakes I Have Seen
Here are some of my tips and/or observations, in no particular order, that I hope will help you if you are advertising on Traffic Swarm.
1. USE YOUR FREE 250 DAILY CLICK ALLOWANCE.
You are allowed 10 ads and 250 free clicks per day. If you don't use your full quota a clicks you lose them, so why not take the time to click 250 times - after all it's FREE advertising. You should get at least 300 points for your 250 clicks so I suggest that you put a limit of 30 on each of your 10 ads and that way you should never run out of points and you will get the maximum exposure for your free membership.
If you want to pay $30 per month to join Traffic Swarm Pro you will get 2500 free points every month but I still recommend that you do your 250 free clicks every day to get the best value for your dollar. You could probably put up about 35 ads and limit them to 30 clicks a day and not run out of points. You will just have to experiment with this. Or you could put less ads and allow them more clicks.
When you have a large amount of points built up the system shows your ad more often and if you don't put a limit on your ads you use up your points in a day or two and then you keep running out for the rest of the month.
Each new day starts at midnight USA Eastern time regardless of where you live. So if you live in Australia for example each day would start at 2pm. Depending on what time of day you click it should take you from between 1.5 and 2 hours to do your 250 clicks.
2. CHECK YOUR WEBSITE.
I am amazed at how many people are wasting their ads because either their website is down or it takes too long to open. If your website doesn't open quickly don't advertise it on traffic swarm. When I am clicking if a website hasn't opened by 10 seconds (half of the alloted time) then I click "next" and get ready to go on to the next site when the 20 seconds are up, and I am sure I'm not the only person who does that. So if you want people to see your site it needs to open as soon as they click on it.
The other thing is that you should check your ad to make sure that your website opens and you haven't made a mistake when you typed in your URL. You can do this by logging in to your back office and scrolling down near the bottom to where your ads are listed. Click on the underlined heading of your ad and it will open your website if all is well. If it doesn't open you can temporarily suspend the ad till you have sorted out the problem. That is also a way to see how quickly it opens. If your site is slow to open one way around it would be to buy a website and write a blurb about your site and then link to it. If you get their interest in the blurb and they are interested they should follow the link. Or you could do the same with a blog. But the best way is to create a splash page free, or there are places where you can have someone make one for you. Splash pages open quickly and are best for all traffic exchanges.
How Do You Know What Is Best To Advertise On Traffic Swarm?
Some things do better than others on Traffic Swarm. Why is that and what does best?
As I said at the beginning a large proportion of the people advertising on Traffic Swarm are either Affiliate Marketers or Network Marketers. They are not there looking for an affiliate program or mlm company to join. As Scott Douglas says, "Don't Waste Your Time and Your Traffic Credits Promoting Things in Traffic Exchanges that Nobody Wants!"
So the obvious question is, what would catch their attention? Every network marketer and affiliate marketer have two main needs. They need to get traffic to their website and they need to have money to get the traffic because it usually costs money to either buy leads or generate your own leads. As Anne Sieg says in her e-book The 7 Great Lies of Networkmarketing, why most network marketers fail is because they run out of leads and they run out of money to get more leads.
Would you be better to advertise a pill or a skin cream or would it be more beneficial to you if you were offering them some kind of a tool they could use to get more traffic to their website?
The things to advertise on Traffic Swarm are things that help Network Marketers get more leads or something that they use in their business, for example a domain name or free hosting.
Many of the people on Traffic Exchanges are looking for free ways to get traffic to their website and there is a lot of good quality free information that you can advertise there. People like Mike Dillard give a lot of good quality free information away like a free video about ppc and lots of other information that is very useful to the kind of people who use traffic exchanges. Mike Klingler and Anne Sieg also have a free section to their Renegade Universityl and The Spiderweb System is also free to join and has a lot of good information that the users of Traffic Exchanges are looking for.
Anne Sieg says in The 7 Great Lies of Networkmarketing, what Network Marketers really need is to make money from the things they are using to generate their own leads. There are a lot of tools out there that Network Marketers need to use that have Affiliate programs attached to them and that can give them money to get leads for their business. Anne Sieg puts out an e-book called The Renegade Networkmarketer that has a whole lot of affiliate programs attached to it. And GDI is a way to monetize getting a website. The Spiderweb System also has a lot of affiliate programs that are paying you as you draw people to your website, and it is free to join. Anything like these programs that are things that online marketers need to use to do their business should do OK on Traffic Swarm. So if your program is something like these then put up lots of ads and see what happens.
I'm not promising that you'll get hundres of signups a day because there is a lot of stuff on Traffic Swarm that you are competing with. But you will get some.
Traffic Swarm shouldn't be your main way of getting traffic or sales. As Mike Klingler explains in the free training section at Renegade University, you put up some ads on Traffic Swarm to start getting some money coming in while you set up all your other marketing. Some of it is free and some of it costs, but if you have some money starting to come in from your Traffic Swarm ads then you will be able to start generating leads in other, quicker ways.
I hope this has been helpful to you and has got you thinking about what you should be doing with your Traffic Swarm membership.

- Thank you so much. I can see that I have been using Trafic Swarm all wrong and just wasting my clicks. I have always been trying to keep them over 1000 pts so I never run out, but I am sure that my ads are wrong. I have printed your advice so I can study it at liesure, and act upon it, because so far, I have not been making money at anything, and I am only looking to make a little money anyway, so if I follow this, and change my ads like you say, then I should be generating at least a little extra cash while I finish all my other Renegade stuff, which I am way behind in. I have not even built a Blogg yet. thanks again, Jonibee
