What is Temple Terrace United Methodist Chuch

TTUMC is a loving, creative church on 5030 E. Busch Blvd., Tampa, Florida, just outside the city limits of Temple Terrace.

TTUMC is filled with friendly people and features "Epic" worship. Epic worship is image-rich, experiential worship that often breaks down the "fourth wall" between the leaders and the worshippers. TTUMC has been doing this kind of worship for a long time, but continues to take more steps all the time in this direction. If you're in the Tampa area, it's definitely worth your time one Sunday morning to come be a guest and take a look.

For more information about TTUMC, visit www.ttumc.net on the web, or call 813-988-4141.

What's It Like?

What you can expect at TTUMC

  • Journey Worship Celebration, Sunday, 9:30 a.m. Dress casual (you'll be comfortable in anything from jeans and sneakers on up). The music is contemporary praise music, and is really well performed. Kids Sunday School, which is really creative and fun, happens at the same time as this service. I recommend it highly.
  • Foundation Worship Celebration, Sunday, 11:00 a.m. Want to wear something more than jeans and sing the traditional hymns you love? This is the service you'll prefer.
  • Friendly, welcoming people. No matter which service you choose, or which event you take part in, you'll find people who really welcome you and are glad you're there.
  • An intelligent pastor with a great sense of humor. Pastor Jerry Johnson's messages in either service will present you with insights and motivation to follow Jesus and connect others with His love.
  • Children. Kids have a highly creative Sunday School lesson during the the 9:30 a.m. Journey service on Sunday. They love it! Kids also meet Wednesday nights from 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. for more learning and fun at Kids' Club.
  • Youth. The youth group, High Voltage, attends the Journey service and then meets for an hour afterward in the newly renovated Youth Center.
