Americans sometimes refer to the Thanksgiving holiday as "Turkey Day" because of the emphasis on the big turkey dinner. Of course, the holiday is so much more. It's a time of reviewing our blessings and celebrating the harvest season as winter approaches. One more time, we think back to the early settlers and their interactions with the Indians.
