How easy (or difficult) is it to earn money with affiliate programs?

Affiliate Programs is the easiest way to make money online if you are new to Internet. You don't need your own website, and with the right system, your path to success is wide open. 

We have all heard stories about Super Affiliates like Ewen Chia, Matthew Glanfield and others earning $20-30,000 a month.

When you consider that most affiliates are earning less than $100 a month, there must be something these people are doing wrong. Or is the answer simply that they don't do it at all?

 This lens will look into success and failure of Affiliate Marketing, and try to help you with some useful answers.

There is one thing many Super Affiliates are talking about, and that is your Focus.

While working on your plan to affiliate success, you WILL stumble into other opportunities, no doubt about that.

If you have been online for some time, you know how difficult it is to keep your focus.
Hot offers are landing in your mail-box almost every minute, promising you thousands of dollars without any effort at all.

Let's get one thing straight right now, it can't be done! There is no secret formula to success, only hard work.

So, forget all about it, and stay focused for a couple of days. And the results will come!

One of the biggest "time thieves" as I see it is your email-program. Shut it down right now. Tell yourself to take a break and read emails every hour or something like that. Respond to those needed to, and shut the program down again.

Having the program running in the background will steal a lot of your focus, a focus you need when building your business.

So, what exactly is a Super Affiliate?

A Super Affiliate as I see it is just an ordinary affiliate just like you and me. Except of a proven system in place. You need to set up your own plan, and stick to it.

Here are some things to consider when setting up your plan:

• How do you want to build your list
• How will you attract subscribers, will you offer them a free e-book, article or report?
• Where will you earn your money
• How and where will you promote your business

Whatever you are doing, it is important that you make a plan that works for you. Without a plan, you will find it difficult to get your work done!

There are many online marketers claiming that you have to create your own product to make a living online.
Of course, if you can find your own niche to sell your product to, you have found Gold. But it doesn't have to be that difficult.

Many affiliates are earning good money on the Net by selling other people's stuff.

Famous Super Affiliate Rosalind Gardner earned over $400.000 in 2003 just by selling other people's products.

And many more are receiving big checks in their mailbox every month just by selling other people's products.

I'm not saying that you will earn $400.000 a year (It can be done!), but do you really need to earn that much to quit your boring day-job and tell your boss to go to that special place where it never snows??

There are 3 things you need to succeed as a Super Affiliate:

1. Your own contact-list

2. A program to get you into immediate profit (Money to play with!)

3. A long term program to build a residual income.
