Why would you purposely cause road rage?
Why would any driver purposely cause road rage by not using a turn signal? Is there any possible acceptable excuse?
Reasons someone would not use a turn signal...
- You have no arms. I suppose it would be difficult to steer, use the pedals, shift and use a turn signal with your legs if you had no arms.
- You are having a heart attack yet are still managing to drive and steer.
- You were pushed into another lane against your will by invisible forces and had no idea you were about to be changing lanes. I think this one is the most likely.
- You are driving an ambulance. I think if it is an emergency and you use those flashing and blinking lights as a "get out of the way or you will get flattened" signal, you don't need to add a turn signal to it.
- You have worn out your turn signal by using it constantly for the past several years. And are going tomorrow to get it replaced.
- Your hands are full. With your cup of coffee in one hand, you cell phone in the other hand (and the steering wheel in your third hand?), you obviously can't flick on the turn signal (with your forth hand).
What excuse whould you use for not using a turn signal?
If you can come up with a good excuse, I'll add it to the list.
