Tuxedo Kamen (or Tuxedo Mask) is the male hero in the anime and manga Sailor Moon. His everyday identity is Mamoru Chiba, which roughly translates to "Guardian of the Earth", and in the English version he is known as Darien Shields. Mamoru is the reincarnated form of Prince Endymion of the Moon Kingdom. His name refers to the story in Greek mythology about a man who was loved by Selene and whose youth was preserved by eternal sleep. His attacks use either a rose or his cane and are not named.

In the second season, he suffers from amnesia and becomes the moonlight knight. He regains his memory and in the second half of the season, he discovers that she is the future Neo-Queen Serenity in the 30th century. He will marry Usagi Tsukino (Sailor Moon) and together they will give birth to Chibi-Usa. In the last season, he moves to America for his studies and Usagi spends the series wondering why he does not contact her.
