Read Twilight Book or Not?
The book that is resting on my night stand at this very moment was highly recommended by my sister and is called Twilight by Stephenie Meyer. She claims that this book, Twilight, and its series - New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn are all amazing books. I've also heard from many people that Stephanie Meyers is an awesome writer, too. I haven't gotten a chance to start reading the Twilight book yet and am a bit skeptical as it sounds like a book that might be geared towards a younger audience, (I'm not a teenager). Anybody read the book Twilight yet? Seriously, is it any good? Should I even bother reading the book or leave it on my night stand?

I really enjoyed this book because it was make believe, but at the same time it fits in with everybody else's lives and so you think that it could actually be happening in real life because in the book all the people that go to Forks High School don't suspect a thing and are oblivious to the whole situation and think that the family is just a bit odd and doesn't really fit in. When actually behind everything there is a whole other side to the story.
I'd give this book 9/10 because it is my favourite book and I have read it 6 times, I think that maybe lots of people like it because they like the idea of it happening to them. And People think what Bella goes through its thrilling and exciting and unusual. The whole book is about a realistic love story, that everyone wants to happen to them. I also enjoyed reading it because there was always something about to happen that was always really interesting and exciting, so you find it hard to be able to put the book down because you always want to know what's going to happen next.

The Twilight seires are over rated and in my point of view useless to read. The story line is average, as it is a good point but it pulls on and on.
I think that girls will like the book more than boys as it is a romance novel and there is strong emotive lines in it.
All in all it depends on your liking....... personaly i think its a average book

Twilight is a very intense and captivating story that will keep you reading. Is it enjoyable? Certainly! Is it good literature? Is it the next Harry Potter? Nope! The main failures of the book include its overly perfect characters, shallow romance, and immoral glorification of unhealthy relationships and stalker-like behaviour. It tells teenage girls what they want to hear, not what they must hear. Ignore all that and you have a pretty entertaining read.

- I found it interesting to read about Meyer's actual influences (found this on a site called Infloox), and after reading that, you can totally see little glimpses of it in her writing even though the authors/books she enjoys are vastly different from the vampires she writes about. - I read all four pretty quickly (made a lens about it too). I really liked the first one, followed by the third. Didn't care too much for the second and was disappointed in the fourth. BUT overall, I was glad I took the time to read them. I am patiently waiting the next movie. :)
