One of the most important aspects of your Twilight costume is going to be your makeup and how you apply it. The effects can be dramatic and daring or sinfully simple. It's up to you to decide, but whatever you choose, please don't buy a package of clown white makeup and think it's going to make you look like a sexy vampire. It won't. If you're going to pull off your Cullen costume and truly look like you could lure in a fragile human with your god-like beauty, you've got to plan ahead and gather the right products to lighten your skin. Newborn vampires, don't forget that Twilight vampires don't leave typical puncture marks, so you'll need to create crescent shaped bites. Creating Perfectly Pale Vampire Skin

In my opinion, this is the most important part of your transformation into a Twilight vampire!

You've absolutely got to create a beautifully pale palette for the rest of your makeup, without going overboard. If you screw this up, you could end up looking like a clown instead of desirable, sexy vampire. Example: Our first introduction to Dr. Carlisle Cullen in the hospital emergency room in the Twilight movie. I literally cringe every time I watch that scene because his makeup is so awful.

The Twilight vampires, especially the Cullen's, are described as having god-like beauty. Their skin, like most vampires, is cold to the touch. It is hard, but smooth and marble-like. Pale and perfect like fine porcelain.

How to Make Your Skin Pale, But Smooth

East to follow makeup tips plus, inexpensive products that will give you perfect results!

Start with fresh, clean skin. Do not use holy water.
Apply a light moisturizer to your face and neck.
Use a very fair concealer/highlighter to cover any blemishes and uneven skin tones.
If you need extra coverage you can apply a light foundation or Tone 1 pressed powder, but keep it light and don't go overboard. Let dry.
Use a Kabuki Face Brush to apply a very pale shade of translucent, luminance loose powder or Shimmer Mineral Glow.
To apply the loose powder for a flawless finish, you'll want to sift out a small amount of the powder into the reserve or the lid of the container, then dip the makeup brush into the powder. Gently tap the brush to remove excess powder before applying to your face and neck. Repeat as many times necessary to get the desired effect.
You can also brush the pale mineral powder or Shimmer Mineral Glow over the other exposed parts of your body after you've finished getting dressed.
You are now ready to finish your face with sparkles, under-eye bruises, eye makeup or vampire bites to the neck.

Creating Realistic Twilight Vampire Bites

Twilight vampire bites do not look like the typical puncture markes you see in most vampie movies.

Twilight vampires do not have fangs. They use their razor sharp venomous teeth to create crescent, human shaped bites. If you want to be Bella or a newborn Twilight vampire for Halloween you'll want to add some wounds that look realistic. Use a makeup kit (like the one above) or use liquid latex to create the desired effect and then use fake blood gel to make it look "fresh". If you want to skip the bloody gore, you can always have healed crescent shaped scars. When the bite wounds heal they turn very pale white and turn cold to the touch.

Tip for heal vampire bite:
Okay, so it's almost halloween and you
want to look Cullen. They all have bites so
you'll need :
1 Tablespoon : Knox Unflavored Gelatin
1 Tablespoon : Milk ( Any kind )
and
a paintbrush or something like it to apply.
Do :
Put milk and gelatin in cup, stir, then put
in the microwave for just 10 seconds.When
its out, stir again. Wait for it to cool off then
apply to area you want bite, in the shape of
a cresent with your paintbrush thingy.

twilight fans also nead to reamber that wile transforming into a vamp. you nead to practice the movements of vamps. too. Practice walking smoothly, siting still, and running FAST! you cant be a vamp. without the escentuals.

as far as foundation go three shades lighter than your normal shade get a light powder to go over that use a purple eyeshadow for under the eys for a just fed look and get golden contacts for your eyesif you want to look like a cullins vamp.

ok i am a complete twilight freak and i am actually writing my own book... but tht nt the point lol...main thing is for ppl who have dark skin dont use those pills to make yourself have pale skin. most of them dont work and alot of them will hurt ur skin. if you REALLY want pale skin think ahead and put layers of foundation creme on and then right before going out add a little powder. its simple and harmless. and it wont freak ur parents out if you do it gradually X3 XP. twilight rocks ._.

Remember that vampire beauty is REALLY understated because they dont where any make-up they are just naturally beautiful so go for the basics:mascara, blush, powder, eyeliner and lip tint. I dont know why there lips are pink but stiill only use lip tint, dont put gloss on.(They dont where ANY make-up!!!!!!! nothing obvious!!!!!!)

major twilight fan and love the idea!! One way to make it real is make shure that the vamp that you or your bffs are going to dress up as have the same hair color. it wont look right if you havea blonde Alice of black haired Rose.lol. but as for bella, same gose for the hair color but also for all of them try to get some eye color contacts. that realy helps. Also, for the bff going as alice, she should wear a neakless like alice does too.hope you arnt upset that i couldnt give you these tips before Halloween. you can go to a costume party with them or maby even next year's Halloween. My husband's birthday is the day before Halloween so we have a big party every year. He really goes all out with the costumes and makeup. I dress up but I don't usually add the finishing touches. You make it look so easy that I'm going to have to give it a try.
