What Blue Flowers Are in the Twilight Meadow Scene in Eclipse?
Before the Eclipse movie was released, Twilight Saga Eclipse director David Slade released a photo simply titled "Meadow". It's one of the most visually beautiful sets in the movie -- Edward and Bella's meadow.
What I can't quite pin down is what blue wild flowers are used in this Twilight Eclipse Meadow Scene photo.
It looks like there are two types of blue flowers. One could be a blue delphinium but the other one is a blue and white six petal flower. Its feathery foliage almost looks like a cosmos or mexican aster. I've included plenty of blue flowers which are a close match which would make a beautiful blue flower garden but none seem to match the picture exactly.

Eclipse director David Slade Twittered on October 6, 2009 a twitpic of a meadow with gorgeous blue flowers. He is deliberately vague as to whether this is the Twilight meadow of Edward and Bella's he plans to feature in Eclipse.
Blue flowers are rare in nature. The fact that Eclipse director, David Slade chose blue is significant. "The absence of direct i.e. white - sunlight after sunset means that blue hues become much more intense during twilight...blue flowers look much bluer than they do in direct sunlight" according to John Caldicott Naylor in Out of the Blue: a 24 Hour Skywatcher's Guide.
