Twilight is a 2008 American romantic-fantasy film directed by Catherine Hardwicke and based on the novel of the same name by Stephenie Meyer. The protagonists of the film are Bella Swan and Edward Cullen, who are played by Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson, respectively. The project was in development for approximately three years at Paramount Pictures before it was put into pre-production by Summit Entertainment. The film was primarily shot in Washington and Oregon in early 2008. Twilight was released in theaters on November 21, 2008, and grossed US$35.7 million on its opening day. The Best

Nicole says:

The movie was amazing; it was a great show of how Stepheine Meyer wrote the book. I love Edward he is a soo gourgus. =)

Pissed-off-Fan says:

Rob and Kristen have great chemistry and you,Sunshineshera, have bad grammar. All you did was complain. The cast are soooooooooo not ugly. Don't say that infront of a group of teenage girls unless you want to get into a fight. Obviously you can't fit a 498 PAGE BOOK INTO A TWO HOUR MOVIE AND IF YOU COULDN'T FACE THAT YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE WATCHED IT. You said that if you hadn't explained it to your husband who hadn't read the book, he would have been lost. Middle school students who haven't read the book understand the movie, so your husband must be a little slow or you're over exagerating.

MiMi says:

The best thing about the movie was how hot the actors and actresses were.

nicole says:

edward

Mean qirl wavey=] says:

THE WHOLE SCENEARY THE WHOLE PLOT..THE ACTORS...ROBERT PATTINSON=]]]]!!!!!!!

vanessa says:

best best rob hot and sexy

clara says:

the movie is awesome

lizz says:

Twilight (the book) is so romantic ties, so beautiful. the film is something worse, Bella is more superficial (and less klunzig) only this is so difficult to make, I think the film could not be better, of course there are some mistakes, but that is human. I think this is just good.
In short, the film is really supper! pity that Chaterina new moon is not doing well to!

P.S: sorry about my English, I am 12 years old + from the Netherlands, its a littel diffecult

Mellowd says:

I absolutely loved it!! Great Vampire Love story!!

sarahjjac says:

I really liked the movie more than I thought I would. It inspired me to read the books and I am almost finished with "Eclipse." I am going to die if another book doesn't come out soon. I cannot wait for "New Moon" movie and I cannot believe I have to wait until 2013 for the next movie WHAT>!>!>! I LOVE Twilight and all the characters from the movie they did a great job.

team.edward1 says:

I think the cast worked great together. The movie kept me very interested. I loved it. I watch it often.

kendra says:

i love the movie an im only 10 years old

Bella says:

EDWARD CULLEN IS SO HOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

twilightfan4ever says:

The best thing is the guys in twilight they are all so hot! especially edward

patty says:

The best thing about the movie is that it has talented actors and is a action thriller romance!

Meaghan says:

The scenery and set of the movie was FANTASTIC. They really picked a place that portrayed Forks, or as close as they could get it to. I also really enjoyed how they added the kitchen scene, when Bella meets his family as they cook for her. It was very cute. I read the book, all of the 4 books actually, before the movie came out, and I really liked the Prom scene, but I wished they'd followed the real scene, where Bella doesn't KNOW she's going to prom.

chicken hawk says:

the best thing about the movie was the kitchen sean the way it was playd out ok so everyone literaly is coocking food for bella and then edward and bella round the corner then edward introduces bella to carlisle and esme and then carlisle introduces everyone or rosalie and emmet to bella then esme asks if bellas hungre and she says yes then edward says right after the last word "she just ate"the rosalie just crumples and smashes the glass bowl in her hands and says"thanks thanks alot we just spent all of that time making food for you and you aren't hungre thats just great i could have spent my time doing something more usefull but no i had to be nice and respec carlisles desiton and not kill you so i respect him anouf so i did what he told me to do and that was to cock for you" so yaaaaa but u half to watch it to get the full afect so yaaaaaa

Kaycee says:

I thought the movie was pretty good. Their were some things I didn't like, like the fact thier was no meadow scene and the hotel scene was just too short, but it was good. I really liked the baseball scene, it was exactly like the book. How I imagined it at least. And the fact that Jacob was in it a lot. I'm team Jacob. Anywho, I think the movie was well written, but the book is still better. The book is always better.

sally says:

i agree with melissa. the phrases people would say in the book were kind of weird. everything happened to so fast in the movie. things that happened in the book and that actually made it better didn't happen in the movie. don't get me wrong i loved the movie but the books are a thousand times better. i really hope that the next movie will be more like the book.

soraya says:

I LOVED IT! don't expect to see the book on screen though. It's a condanced and losely based version of the book. I can't wait for new moon.

The Worst

amanda says:

the timelines and settings were not right in some places.

Sunshineshera says:

I was totally disappointed in the directing and the cast..about the only one they got right was Alice and she was obsolete in movie.

How they hell did they go from hating each other one day and in love the very next?

They could have done a way better job with the movie..I am no director but I had a vision and this movie was not it.

Edward and Bella's Chemistry was horrible...I don't think he could chemistry with a brick wall let alone a woman.

They totally messed up all the important scenes in the movie..Like umm 3 of the most important ones that lead to so much more in the book. 1 their field meeting..where he takes her to see what he really looks like in the daylight..It was done out of romance in the novel..but out of anger in the movie? WTH...that becomes their field..something she strives for to find later..it's crucial for her to find it..so how are they going to do that in the next movie? They can't because who would want to go back to a field where he was angry with her because he wanted her to know what she was getting herself into..

The second one...Her getting sick and almost feinting her first time gliding..in the book it was a part of Bella's nature..She was clumsy and scared of heights..she was goofy, self conscience, and totally relatable.. Thats why we fell in love with her..in the movie they didn't portray her character well at all. How can they just cut out all the stuff that made us fall in love with Bella..Just sad.

Oh and don't forget the 3rd...The rock where Bella and Jacob talked about the cullens? WTH man..they walked along the beach for what oh 2 minutes? They never sat on a rock that later becomes their rock..their place to talk and grow closer..the rock where she goes to think when Jacob is off doing his Spirit guardian stuff...

Don't even get me started on Jasper...the creepy crazy eyed whack job..just ewwwwwwwwwww...the whole movie he looks like he has a corn cobb somewhere where the sun doesn't shine..

In the book all the Cullans are so beautiful close to any mortal..in the movie they are all dull..pale..ok vampires are supposed to be pale but they have white makeup on...AND YOU CAN TELL..None of them are beautiful...none of them can act..where did they get them? The cast off of tv shows and fail movies?

I know it's a teenie bopper book but I am a grown woman and I loved the books..but the movie was a b budget cast with a b budget director and failed miserable at capturing the books true essence and what made the books so popular..and everyone wanting more. It took the teenie bopper title way to far..and if i didnt explain the story line to my husband who never read the books..he would have been so lost.

It was a huge disappointment

Reggie says:

They wasted time on the "bad" vamps and lost story telling time. Edward lives in a closet in the movie. got lost two times trying to figure out the Killing sprees-they did not even need to be in the movie in the first place-and moving way too fast through the movie. Edward seemed like a wimp and did not seem like he had the on ten the character that Edward in the book had. I just hope in the next movie they take time and do not waste time on extra scenes that do not pertain to the story line regardless if they follow the book or not.

beingweird says:

it wuz...really bad! everything seemed really fake and the actors didn't look like they were having fun. if i hadn't read the book and i only watched the movie, i'd have a totally different opinion on the book. twilight is awesome but the movie really spoiled it

anonymous says:

The movie totally killed the book in my opinion! It could've been made way better! The story was so messed up in the movie, i thought i had bought the wrong movie! all in all..it just sucked!

Yvette says:

I saw the movie first, which got me to read the books. After watching it the second time- the movie seems VERY choppy-and squished together. I don't understand some of scene changes- why did they have Bella in the woods when she confronted Edward if he was a vampire rather than the car. Rather than taking their time with the car conversation they squished it and the meadow scene together and it lost alot in the translation from book to movie. It came off kinda cheesy...

kiSsEs_08 says:

They almost revised everything! Like for example, when Edward admitted to Bella that he was a vampire is not in the woods, but instead, inside the car on their way home to Forks, right after the incident that some thugs almost attacked Bella in an alley.

boshemia says:

There was something that really bothered me, the relationship was palyed out as the height of teen romance, but... it was also a textbook abusive relationship in the making. When you wake up in the middle of the night and a boy is watching you sleep, or follows you to another town uninvited, even if he saves you from thugs, that's stalking. There were even several lines in the movie that are abusive relationship 101. I only do it because I love you, I just feel protective over you. I'm far from a feminist but I have lived through an abusive relationship. This is NOT a good message for young girls.

pegeleg says:

didn't see it but my daughter says her friends all say if you are over 12 its a bust.

Melissa says:

I could say this movie was ALRIGHT. but if you actually read the book youd understand. i honestly think the producers could have done such a better job. everything was so squished together. and not really intense. the emotions in the book were NOTHING compared to the ones in the movie. i was pretty disappointed. i hope they do a better job for new moon. and the music was pretty terrible. and some of the things that the characters said were kindof weird. i dont know if anyone agrees with me or not. but oh well.

Leina says:

-The Score-> Oh my God. This is the worst score music I have heard in a film. I've probably heard better background music in a late night movie on Cinemax than this film. Summit, whoever did the score, fire them. If I see their name in the list for New Moon, I will NOT see it in theaters. The music came out soapy and cheesy and it was insanely distracting. I have the soundtrack and the songs are great but the score is not.

-The unnecessary scenes-> what was up with the scenes in the diner? In the book they don't have scenes in the diner, it's always at home. We probably could've seen more interactions between Bella and Charlie if they had dinner at home instead of that damn waitress and those creepy bearded men. Another useless scene, climbing up on the trees. Yes, it was beautifully shot, but it doesn't happen in the book. This time couldv'e been used for other more essential scenes which brings me to...

-The pace-> everything went by so fast. One moment they hate each other, the next they are professing their love. What? I get that it was a 500 page book but come one. It seemed like they just wanted to tack on certain scenes with the popular quotes. But everything went by so fast that I even missed the lion and the lamb quote. And what the hell was up with that horrible montage when he spends her first night with Bella in her bed. Can't we actually hear some of the dialogue? The convos between Bella and Edward was the best thing in the book. -The Score. Seriously, what the hell?!?!?

-The meadow-> it went by too fast, the damn score didn't help it. And why were they laying on the ground like two lifeless bodies.

Nancy says:

The worst had to be Edward in general. Ridiculous. Oh please.
They squished everything into a short two hours. Stupid. If I didn't read the book then I would of been so lost. Now I know how the legit Harry Potter fans feel . . .

Dawn says:

The best thing was Charlie. He was awesome!!! And Jacob. The worst thing...the cullens looked fake...they really needed to have invested more in the wigs...and the glitter shot was completely disappointing...SHAVE THAT CHEST ROB!! Couldn't see the glitter for all the hair...and the constant 5 o'clock shadow...just not as gorgeous as my Edward would have been...

Kelly says:

You couldn't even tell they were inlove. They ripped apart the book. Gave Edward half of Bellas lines from the book. The meadow scene was totally wrong. They only thing they basically got RIGHT was the baseball scene and the dinner scene.

Megan says:

The acting was mortifying... I had to get past that in order to truly enjoy myself. The fact that Kristen Stewart is monotone and monoexpression of the year? Her panic attack in the hospital wasn't very convincing in my opinion. And there was no on screen "noticeable" attraction between Rob and Kristen either. Honestly? I could have played a better Bella. Kristen even says that she never read the book before she began filming. I'm not sure you can really portray Bella or any of the characters without reading the book and truly knowing what each character is all about.
And I agree Alice definitely needed more lines.
And things that happened in the movie, definitely did not happen in the book, and what did happen in the book didn't happen in the same order in the movie. I guess I'm always going to be disappointed when i read the book first and then go to the show to see the movie.

enslavedbyfaeries says:

Jasper's Edward Scissorhands facial expressions. Carlisle's makeup, -he looked liked a clown in his first scene at the hospital. Alice needed more lines. Taylor Lautner as Jacob Black.

The Book

marissa says:

the movie skipped so much and the speacial effects to make edward sparkle were so horrible i started laughing. robert pattinson wasn't very good and kristin stewart is weird. jacob and bella didn't make mud pies together when they were younger. bella was with his sisters but they didn't become friends or anything. in the ballet studio kristin did a horrible job burning. and it was weird the way he just held onto her wrist like that. it was not a moment to try and be funny. the love between bella and edward didn't really show. me and my friends started making fun of the movie. although we are still going to waste our time and see new moon.

Fureiya says:

the book is amazin there are quite a few important things they left out, and things they played down in hte film, its good but not as amazng as the book

brooke says:

The book was the better version of Twilight. The movie messed up the story so much. The movie was ok had almost all of the key points in it. but it was still lacking a lot. The not needed scenes with the "bad vampires", the timelines, and even the missing information.

Where to start....
Carlisle's story is an important part of the book. And where did the graduation cap thing come from it was not in the books. His bedroom scene was so much better in the book. And the play baseball the same night not days later. The first time he kisses her is in the meadow not in her bedroom. They couldn't capture the love between Edward and Bella in the movie. Adding things that were not in the book at all was just stupid in my opinion. Jacob doesn't meet her when she gets the truck, he meets her on the beach. Even to the point of Edward putting his arm around her when they get to the school. He hardly ever touches her because he is scared to hurt her. And her getting angry about prom???? where is it. I could go on and on. Great books, ok movie. And where is Alice in the movie. or the hatred that Rosalie has for Bella. Emmett likes her, and Jasper isn't worried about killing her so much as Edward warned him to keep his distance. And what about Jasper's ability????? God it makes me wonder how they are gonna explain things later on.... I thought the cast was great. Esme was not Carlise's wife when he changed her....here i go again.

there was so much missing or just wrong it was disappointing. But mainy i want to know where is the EPIC LOVE that this story is....
And I was glad after seeing the deleted scenes that they didn't put the one in where she lets him bite her. That would have completely destroyed it. I mean come on, he barely has enough control to kiss her....
The good points about the movie....Finally hearing her lullabywas nice.

sarahjjac says:

the book is always better than the movie. but i liked having faces to put to the story...

Kitty says:

the book was so amazing and the movie even if it didnt have all the best parts ever since i was a little girl i have always wanted to be a vampire
Edward is so hot!!!!!!

Bella says:

The movie was great but the book was awesome!! Stephenie Meyer you did a great job!!!!

Yvette says:

The book!! DEFINITELY!! You lost so much through the movie translation- Everything was hurried along- so many important book scenes were lost in the translation to the movie. I actually saw the movie before reading the books and i have to say it was a different experience the second time around- ugghhh!

Brianna says:

the book most deffinately is the best one!!!...the books are always better!!!!!!!!

Meaghan says:

If you've read all four of the books, not just the original twilight, you can not even understand how disappointing this movie was in comparison to the entire story. You really CANNOT. The movie basically ruined the series for me, and I only really plan on seeing the next three movies to hope to dear God that Kristen Stewart actually shows some emotion, and Robert Pattinson turns from the stereotypically angry guy into Edward Cullen.

LUPE RAMIREZ says:

I LOVED THE BOOK, BUT THE MOVIE WAS GOOD. I HOPE THEY MAKE ALL THE BOOKS INTO MOVIES AND MY FAVORITE IS "BREAKING DOWN" BECAUSE SHE SAVES THEM ALL, HUMAN AND VAMPIRES, WOLVES AND FAMILY! I SAY POWER TO THE WOMAN FOR DOING IT ALL! ALSO, I DO WISH THE MOVIE WAS LONGER AND THEY HAD PUT MORE INTO IT, BUT OH WELL, NEXT MOVIE, HOPEFULLY THEY WILL! LUPE TWILIGHT STEPHENIE FAN FOREVER!!

whatzittoya says:

crap dude this movie SUCKED!

caroline says:

well, the book will always be better, or course. it's what the movie was based off. but the movie was fantastic. I was completely dazzled by it.

Julie says:

The movie in my head was so much better...BUT I still liked the movie. My favorite scene was when the Cullens entered the cafeteria and when Edward first spoke, "Hello" to Bella in biology. I was riveted ...BUT there were some scenes I wish had been included...like the movie in biology and the electricity betweeen them AND...the part where he pulls Bella into his arms for one last kiss and hug before he leaves to try to make her safe from James. I will definately be seeing the movie again...so I can look for more details. I will end up loving it for what it is and can't wait for the sequel.

Katie says:

Teh book was ten times better. the movie was amazing, and I loved it so much that i'm going to see it for the 3rd time today. But the book explains so much more. If the movie were longer, and they fixed some of the camera angles, it would be better than the book, but since that's not the situation, the book is better. <3

Irene says:

There's a lot I could say about what was missing, and what shouldn't have been added in, or what I would have strongly preferred to see stretched out... but everyone else is already saying most of it, just in a different way.

Bottom line for me, the acting was over the top or too underplayed. Charlie was about the best thing about the movie, I LOVED Eric, I wish Tyler had more character development. The van accident would have been much stronger had it been more accurate to the book. It's too major a scene to be brushed by like that.

However, my biggest "gripe" was that I think a lot of the issues came from being so low budget. With a better budget, they could have made a slightly longer film, had better special effects, spent more money where it was needed (like a little better acting coaching), and given an overall better film. I suspect that New Moon will do much better.

Question tho... why did NO ONE in my theatre notice when Stephenie's face was on screen BIG AS DAY!!!!!! They even called her out by her NAME, if you were listening!!!! These crazed teenies weren't nearly as observant as I'd expected.

Also, at the end, why did Victoria look like she'd been crying? I thought Vampires didn't have tears...

Angela says:

Of course the book was better. I loved the movie but after the book I'm not sure any actors could have lived up to the hype Bella gave them. Rob Pattinson just isn't all that good-looking and his American accent could use a little work, but the actor that played Jacob Black was absolutely gorgeous!! Can I switch teams?!! Team Jacob all the way!!!! ;o)

Kelsey S. says:

The book was much better, but only because it's more detailed and it lets YOU be more creative with your mind, but i still LOVED the movie. Sure, there were major differences in the movie and in the book, but it was still a good movie, and i dont think anyone can argue with that.

Megan says:

Twilight was much better represented in the book. There is so much more detail and room for the mind to wander. Yes it's nice to put faces to the characters now, but I thought the book was so much more romantic than the movie. People who only went and saw the movie missed out on a great love story. You don't get the same feeling from the movie that you got from the books. But I guess I'm excited for them to continue the sequels.

Jennifer says:

The first thing that struck me in the opening sequence was how beautiful and green it is in Forks. Of course, I was sad for the deer but I'll get over it. I hadn't been much of a Kristen Stewart fan before this movie. But I must say she did a pretty good job. It may have been fueled by chemistry with Robert (and who the heck would blame her) but I liked her version of Bella for the most part. I fell in love with Billy Burke (Charlie) in this movie. I loved his Charlie. The scene in the police station after Port Angeles was so touching. And of course the gun cleaning scene was cliche but funny anyway. I was pleased by the meadow scene and sparkle effect. It was pretty. They just didn't keep his shirt open long enough. I thought Robert did an amazing job as Edward. Every little nuance of his expression was spot on perfect. And of course, he was beyond beautiful. *sigh* The other high school students (with the exception of the kid who played Angela) were highly annoying to me. But I think they did that on purpose to provide contrast to the maturity of Bella and the Cullens. The actors did a decent job with the limited screen time they got. I liked Jacob and Billy too. Billy's lines cracked me up. And that look he gave Edward when they passed in the cars scared the crap out of me. He definitely let the audience glimpse the Billy we get to know better in the books. Taylor did a good job as Jacob. The hair was too obviously a wig for my taste but his smile (so like how I imagined it in the books) was dead on. I'll look forward to his development in the next films (which they can hurry up and start making, thanks). The Port Angeles scene was so intense. It was one of Robert's strongest scenes. And the stunt driving was incredible. That was one spot where I squeed out loud. The restaurant scene was awesome. But what the heck with the waitress' hair? That was completely weird. More Robert goodness in that scene. The kissing scene in Bella's room was definitely hot. Makes me look forward to Breaking Dawn. No way they're going to get that made without an R rating. But that's ok with me. All of the Cullens were great! The flashback scenes were way too short and gauzy for me. I would have liked to see more of that but then the movie would have been 3 hours long (which actually, would have been fine to me). Maybe they'll do an extended version for the DVD. Kellan was a perfect Emmett. He has a great mischevious grin. Rosalee was perfectly hateful - Nikki was right on tone with her. Ashley portrayed Alice as a little brasher than I imagined but was still very likeable. I'll look forward to seeing more of her in the next movies. Jackson was good as showing Jasper's pain. The look in his eyes made me almost hurt for him. Peter was so amazing as Carlisle. Next to Robert, his was my favorite performance. Elizabeth was a perfect Esme. I knew she would be. I've liked her a lot from her Grey's Anatomy role. The baseball scene was another that I was nervous about but they surpassed my expectations. It was so fun to watch that scene. I may have to put surround sound in my living room before it comes out on DVD so I can fully experience it at home. I like how suddenly the villans came on scene. The timing on all of that was excellent. Loved Cam the moment he came on screen. The three of them were definitely imposing figures. Loved Victoria's line about having a wicked curve ball. The pace of the escape and waiting in Phoenix was excellent. I was wondering how they were going to get through that part without rushing it or boring the heck out of us. I think Catherine balanced it quite well. And of course, the ballet studio scene was amazing. I was surprised that they let us see the brutality of killing James but it was handled quite well. I LOVE that it was Alice that ripped James' head off. And except for the whole eye crossing at the end of it, Kristin was very believably in excruciating pain. I'm not quite sure how I liked the transition from the studio to the hospital. I think I need to see it again to decide. Kristin's panic attack in the hospital when she thinks Edward is going to leave her was heartbreaking. She did that very well. I'm not liking Bella's mother that much though. Maybe just because I pictured her very differently. The prom scenes were a great ending after the climax of the ballet studio. I really liked how they fit Jacob into the scene. It seems more natural for him to be outside the prom and to disappear into the trees. Of course, the gazebo scene was perfectly intense. Another example of excellent Rob/Kristen chemistry. All in all - I was completely satisfied with the movie. I want to see it at least one more time in the theatre (preferably at a more decent hour). I'm very thankful that they're going to make the rest of the books. These actors have a lot more talent to show us.

Candice says:

I'm very upset to say this but the movie was awfull. I really said to support new moon being made I would see this movie 10 times but it was so awfull that I have to break my own promise. It was way too cramed in it's like they we met, he thinks i stink but we love each other. Their was no on screen chemesitry, Kristin Stewart had the same stupid look on her face the whole time. And I really liked her for this movie at the begining. I couldn't help but laugh the whole time at the serious parts because it was such awfull acting. They gave alice and jasper one line a piece, and made them out to be weird/mentally retarded looking. Overall a huge disappointment, and I will be upset about this for a long time, becuase I really loved the books. And I understand that movies never hold true to the books, but this acting in this movie was so fake, that I can't see it again. I'm very upset, cheers to the actor who played emmit, he was the only one who I thought seemed like he gave a shit about his what his character was suppose to be portraying. And maybe the girl who was alice could of if given a chance, but like I said she has one line. Overall I think if they wanted this to be good, they should of not smashed so much shit into it just so they could say it would stay true to the book. It would of upset fans if some of the stuff was missing but at least they could of added more dialoge to the important scenes so this could of been at least okay. And now im going to go sulk, and burn my twilight tshirt, because my heart is truely broken, and im usually such an easy movie critic but this was just sad.

The Movie

tiffany says:

the movie it was so awesome!

jade says:

the movie is better

kendra says:

i loved the book and the movie but the movie is the best

Hilary says:

The movie brought everything to life and made me much more emotionally connected to this story that I love!!!!!!

Rachel says:

The movie on a whole I loved!!! There are somethings that I was a little upset over but I got over it as soon as Edward walked in. I was scared crapless going in to the movie, but it soon passed. For a die heart fan you will miss something but not much. The dazzle line was never said but you get to see the dazzling itself. In most movie I fidget and move around, but not in this on I stayed still the whole time in grossed in the movie. At times it seems like they are moving to fast to some parts but they fool you and do something different. I was a little disappointing about seeing Edward in the sun I don't think they did it that well.

Yes, He Dazzled Me!

Dazzled says:

Hell yeah!

someone says:

hey i made that up a long time ago and i aslo made up omec ome omr omrp

Delaney Barrett says:

he was great enough, I mean all girls have their ideal Edward, who they saw in their heads while reading the books, but out of the actors I can think of as potential Edwards, none actualy com to mind exept him,so yes, I do think he's the ideal Edward.

lizz says:

well, I don't like Robert Pattinson, at all (actually, I don't why). But he play Edward very good, and it is a diffecult role. so yes, but I Háte Robert!

sarahjjac says:

oh yeah! what a MAN! he's freakin hot!

kitty says:

Hell yes he is the sexiest hottest most perfect person/vampire i have ever known

kendra says:

i love him. he is better than jacob

Bella says:

Yes,

Noyone in the world of vampires could of done a better job then him!!!

I love Twilight!!!!!!!!

Yvette says:

I don't think Roberts handsome, but since i did see the movie prior to reading the books- i can't picture anyone else as him. I think he did a good job.

1234567890 says:

Yes, he's not as cute as Emmett though.

caroline says:

of course he is my perfect Edward who could replace him

Hilary says:

He didn't do anything for me... until the movie. ROBERT, BITE ME!!!!!!!!!!!

caroline says:

enslavedbyfaeries says:

Honestly, in the beginning, I hated the idea of Robert Pattinson portraying Edward Cullen in the movie. I didn't think he fit the part at all. He has grown on me over the past few months and after seeing the movie I was happily surprised with the casting choice. Robert did an amazing job of portraying Edward's angst. His tortured expressions brought Edward to life on the big screen and the chemistry between Robert and Kristen was hot! I loved the scene where he kissed Bella on the neck in the gazebo at prom. OME!!

No Way!

marissa says:

no! i had the perfect edward invisioned in my head after reading twilight. he was soooooo hot! he was perfect. then they hire this grungy, not so cute guy to play him, and after watching the movie, all i see as edward is robert pattinson! i want my edward back!

Meaghan says:

Robert Pattinson wasn't my ideal Edward, but you can't blame the casting crew. Everyone pictures their Edward differently, just as everyone pictures Prince Charming differently. No matter who they cast, they would lose to someone. They needed a young guy that was handsome, and was a decent actor. I think they could've found better a better actor, personally, but on a scale of 1 to 10, Pattinson scored a 7 with me.

tandemonimom says:

When they cast Rob to play Cedric Diggory in the Harry Potter movie, I remember thinking, "OH! I thought Cedric was supposed to be really cute; I wonder why they cast HIM?" So if he's not cute enough to be Cedric, you may imagine my dismay when they cast him to be Greek god-like Edward.

Nickolas says:

HELL NO!!!!! he looks like a dirty bum in the beginning!! he looks not even like handsome!!!!

yermom says:

dang no
