Twilight New Moon Eclipse Party Ideas With Bella's Cake

Bella's birthday cake is spectacular! You can recreate it at home with some fondant, three different size cake pans, some buttercream icing, letters, and flowers.

• You'll need to bake three different sizes of round cakes, 2 of each size. Then stack the cakes together with a layer of buttercream icing between each cake. You'll stack together two small cakes, two medium cakes, and two large cakes.


• Next you'll want to cover each cake with a thin layer of buttercream, then a layer of white rolled fondant.


• Before you stack the three layers of cake together you may want to put dow rods into the center of the layers to support the layer above it.


• To make the stripes you'll need to make 5 different colors of fondant, and roll it into strips.


• You can color white fondant by adding cake coloring to it and pulling and twisting it until the color is mixed through. You can mix more than one color of icing color to get just the right color for your cake.


• Use a Fondant Ribbon Cutter to cut the color strips, then place them on the cake. Use a thin layer of buttercream, or a little clear vanilla flavoring for glue.


• Place the silver letters on top, add Gerbera Daisies and red roses to the cake. You can find the flowers at your local florist shop.
