Lee Odden, CEO of TopRank Online Marketing, and Dave Snyder, search strategist and marketer for JRDunn, spoke today on the panel ""Twitter: Ultimate Time Waster, or Great Tool?"" Snyder pushed forward the idea that Twitter qua Twitter is not a useful or useless thing but that the way in which it's used determines its usefulness; and Odden, while dismissing its professional usefulness for users, pointed to the data mining uses it provides marketers.
