Twitter.com for SEO. Cutting Edge Socia Media Optimization.
Web 2.0 is offering up lots of new (and easy to use) formats that are ripe for SEO. Microblogging, including Twitter.com is suprisingly search engine friendly and not over done, yet. This lens is to show you how to use Twitter for SEO to help your position on the SERP and drive traffic to your site.
I'll offer some general structural guidelines, but feel free to play around and see what works. It only works well if well all join as followers and favorites and don't abuse this new tool. I look forward to this excercise.

SEO and Twitter: This is some cool stuff that really works. You can beat you head to register on a bunch of crappy directories (I'll help you do that on the cheap, email me.) or you can get creative and establish a some easy to come by natural links. My experience with Twitter shows it is possible.If you are SEO savvy, you need to try out different techniques with RSS, anchor text and URL placement to see what works best.

First Challenge
Overcoming Tiny URLs or URLs in General
I have a client who has a very long URL. Twitter changes any URL over 30 characters into a tiny URL, which defeats the purpose. Submitting Twitter Home Page to Search Engines and Social Bookmarks
Treat your Twitter home page like a regular website.
I attempted to submit my Twitter home page to a free search engine submission site. I need to post their link to complete the process. Twitter says the link is over the character limit, even though it isn't. Any ideas?
