Keyboard: The tx2500z has a full size keyboard which makes it very spacious and easy to type on. The Keys have a very nice tactile feel to them, very nice, almost like a mac feel. The touch mouse pad has little grooves that make it feel a bit different than the traditional smooth touch mice but feel pretty nice. I have gotten neutral reviews on the touch mouse style from my friends when I let them use the laptop, the touch mouse might need a little time to get use to. The touch mouse also has another column of grooves to the right so you know where to place your finger to use the vertical scroll page.



Touchscreen Tablet: The TX2500Z's touchscreen incorporates an active digitizer and will automatically change the screens orientation when you switch to tablet mode.

Weight Saver Substitute Optical Drive: HP provides a plastic weight saver substitute drive that will fit in the optical drive slot reducing the overall weight of the laptop.

Personal Review:
I personally love this laptop because it suits my needs perfectly. After being an owner of many laptops you soon later find yourself only utilizing certain aspects of a laptop leaving other features left to dry only to take up weight, cost, battery life, etc. The TX2500Z has adequate graphics capabilities to run today's games. I mainly play World of Warcraft and other RTS games and the TX2500Z plays all the games just fine with crisp, high frame rate graphics.
