"Well
if that's not the biggest bag over the head, punch in the face I've ever got!"
--Chevy Chase Christmas Vacation
I think that's
a great line by Chevy Chase%u2026 I can relate to
that statement, too because I got hit by the biggest bunch of bull you've ever
seen. You may be reading because you noticed my name is dragged in the
mud online. Let me explain. The posts made are the actions of a
single person using fake identities. Sadly, in this day people
still lie just as much online as they do in person. In fact, it's easier
to lie online too. So if you ever met a liar, or had a lie made on you,
or met someone who had the audacity to lie to your face, then you know what I'm
going through.
Let me
explain. A few years ago I got into a heated argument with someone who
owed me money for work I did but he never paid up. I'm not going to name this
person, (because just the sound of his name makes my stomach turn) and he may
just write another fake attack on me. But after nine months of watching
this worm squirm and lie to me about where the money was I finally resorted to
taking him to court to collect. Ultimately, I did collect as we settled
via a court appointed mediator and the arbitration process. If you'd
like to see a copy of the court appointed mediator's resolution, I have
the original.
My
friends and family obviously know these "fake reports" are made up, unwarranted
and libelous. That's not me. But if you would like to hear the
threatening voice mails which were left on my phone, let me know.
If you'd like to see the email which admits he made up these posts, let me
know. If you'd like to see the anonymous and petty attempt at blackmail,
let me know. I have saved every bit of communication since our court date.
The
website which hosts these fake and trumped up stories is actually quite a piece
of work as well. They have an "F" rating from the Better Business
Bureau. http://www.bbb.org/central-northern-western-arizona/business-reviews/information-bureaus/bad-business-bureau-llc-in-tempe-az-3008667/
They have
been investigated by tv journalists and private investigators. Click
here. http://www.wfaa.com/news/local/64764562.html
They
have been sued for libel and defamation. Click here. http://ripoffreportisgoingdown.com/
They have ruined some people's lives. Click here. http://www.ezripofflawsuit.com/ Unfortunately as of now they have even teamed up with Google
which, unwarranted, ranks them highly. But Yahoo, MSN, Bing and other
search engines wise enough to this scam, all refuse to allow them much
credence. http://blog.usaseopros.com/2009/04/14/scamming-as-an-art-form-ed-magedson-rip-off-report/ Their website is allowed to exist because of a loophole in a law
called the Communications Decency Act. It's a bunch of lawyers who demand
free speech to the "Nth
degree". Their lawyers fight tooth and nail to allow abusive freedom of
speech no matter what the cost. Hopefully soon the truth will be revealed
behind this website, its owner, and the true identities of the authors who post
ridiculous lies. These bogus writings
and fake posts are the rants of an unstable person. They are a testament
to one's real colors-- the true nature and character of the author
himself. His lies say more about him, than the people he's lying about. I, along with the thousands of other business
owners and individuals who have been unfairly attacked and duped by cowards,
liars and thieves will someday have our redemption and our justice.
They have no honor.
They have no word. They have no values. They are without
morals. They are without conscience. They are without humanity.

PARIS - NASA encouraged Europe on Thursday to develop its own manned spaceship, which would give the world - and particularly the U.S. - another way of reaching the international space station.
Europe became "a full-fledged space power," the agency's administrator said, when flight controllers at a European Space Agency center guided an unmanned cargo ship to the international space station in April, successfully delivering food, water and clothes.
"It would be a small step" to develop that technology into "an independent European human spaceflight capability," NASA Administrator Michael Griffin said.
"We welcome the development of independent European capabilities in space to provide redundant systems in the event of failure of any one partner's capabilities," he told a gathering of European researchers and space executives at the French parliament.

The space station will rely on these unmanned spacecraft for supplies, tools and science experiments when NASA's space shuttles stop flying in 2010. The next-generation U.S. spacecraft, the Orion capsule, won't be ready for manned flght until 2015.

In the interim, NASA will have to pay hundreds of millions of dollars to Russia for a lift to the space station.
While Griffin has long asked the Europeans to join NASA's space exploration program, his latest comments mark a ratcheting up of that encouragement, said John Logsdon, director of space policy at George Washington University.
"Having more capability to get to orbit and having the second capability by an ally rather than the tense relationship with China or Russia would be a positive thing," Logsdon said.
Philippe Berterottiere, marketing director for Arianespace, whose rocket launched the unmanned cargo ship Jules Verne in April, told The Associated Press it would be "quite easy" to develop a manned capsule, with development costs of around $3-4.5 billion.
But Logsdon said it was highly unlikely that the Europeans would be able to get a human-rated ship to space "in time to be much of a help" for the 5-year gap without a U.S. ship.
Griffin told journalists he is "very concerned" about the upcoming period without a U.S. shuttle. He said the situation differs from the six-year gap between the last Apollo flight in 1975 and the first shuttle flight in 1981 because "the advanced nations of the world now have a substantial space asset" to maintain and protect: the international space station.
Griffin, as he has in the past, also encouraged Europe to join the U.S. in its Mars exploration plans. French President Nicolas Sarkozy said in February he wants Europe to work with the United States on the project.
NASA has been working since 2005 on President Bush's plan to return to the moon by 2020 and then travel on to Mars, though public response has been tepid.
"Exploring the Moon, and eventually Mars, will be a challenging task, one that NASA has neither the resources nor the desire to do alone," Griffin said.
"I am personally committed to the idea that this enterprise should be international in scope."
French Prime Minister Francois Fillon, in a note to the space conference, said France will use its presidency of the European Union, starting next month, to move the European space project forward, but he was short on details.
The cost of such a mission could be a sticking point for European nations struggling to tame their budget deficits.
Yannick d'Escatha, head of the French space agency CNES, said the combined European budgets for space amount to around $9.24 billion a year. That compares with NASA's annual $17

Though the law will scrap the secret police, known as Disip, and the Military Intelligence Directorate, it will create four agencies in their place, including the General Intelligence Office and General Counterintelligence Office, both under civilian command, as well as two bodies commanded by the military.
Critics believe the law is designed to prevent people from speaking out against a government that has seen its popularity decline in recent months.
Miguel Henrique Otero, a fierce critic of the Venezuelan president and editor of the national daily newspaper El Nacional, said the law "turns all Venezuelans into obligated informers."
The law allows easier access to surveillance methods such as wiretapping without the need to obtain a court order. Authorities also may be able to withhold evidence from defense lawyers if they deem it in the interest of national security.
"It eliminates the defense of the citizen and converts the judicial power into an intelligence system beneath the sole mandate of President Hugo Chávez," Otero said.
Some critics say the law is a means of drawing attention away from the internal and external threats he is facing.
During a March raid into Ecuadorian territory, the Colombian military found laptops belonging to the slain FARC leader Raúl Reyes that allegedly linked Chávez to the Marxist group.
Chávez announced that the incriminating files on the computer had been tampered with, but the international police agency Interpol three weeks ago said that was not the case.
Demetrio Boersner, a professor of international studies who teaches at the Universidad Católica in Caracas, said in an interview that he believes Chávez was on the defensive and is concerned about what the international response will be once the full details of the alleged links are revealed.
"It is a defensive reaction to strengthen his system of control," he said. "It is not just the opposition in general that is on the increase but opposition within 'Chavismo' as well. The president is losing his core support and these moves are a way of intimidating people and generating fear."
English student David Duque, 23, agreed. "It's an abuse of power," he said. "Chávez is bringing in this law so he can put pressure on people who are making things difficult for him."
Venezuela's interior and justice minister, Ramón Rodríguez Chacín, has rejected claims that it restricts political dissent. He dismissed such ideas as scaremongering by an opposition looking to attack Chávez at any opportunity.
In a Tuesday press conference on state television, Chacín said, "Nowhere does [the law] mention freedom of expression; therefore, I don't know how it can restrict it. It's not a crime to give a free opinion in this country. Here, we Venezuelans are guaranteed our free opinions."
Some analysts have compared it to the Patriot Act, which granted expanded powers to the U.S. government following Sept. 11, 2001, and the Venezuelan government insists that the new measures are necessary.
The president of Disip, Gen. Henry Rangel Silva, told state television, "Intelligence and counterintelligence are a fundamental weapon in the defense and development of the nation. This law is directed at the field of state security."
Government officials say the new law - which was passed by presidential decree - also is aimed at defending the country against military rebellions or a potential coup.
Chávez long has claimed that the Bush administration was involved in a military coup that temporarily removed him from power in 2002. He has said the move is necessary to prevent spying from Washington.
As the Venezuelan government prepares itself for the election of state governors in November, analysts suggest that Chávez's ruling party, the Partido Socialista de Venezuela, could face a serious challenge at the ballot box by a previously disparate opposition.
International opinion also is building against the firebrand leader, and several countries have voiced concern about Venezuela's links with Colombian guerillas.
The U.S. State Department also has reaffirmed that it would "always look with concern at any measures that are taken that would restrict people's ability to exercise their fundamental human rights."
In Venezuela, opposition groups have planned several anti-government protests in the coming weeks, including one in Caracas on Saturday.
