Do you know what the largest or the smallest plant in the world is?
How about the oldest plant in the world?
What about the parts of a plant?
This lens will answer those questions and more. Exploring many interesting and different types of plants as well as discuss some of the things they all have in common.
My Inspiration for this Lens
The idea for this lens came about after finding the World Book Encyclopedia Interfact Book and CD. My kids have always loved learning about animals and nature but this computer program made learning that much more fun for them.
As a home schooling mom, I love to do unit studies and share information to help you with your science lesson plans that I come across at my personal home school curriculum blog with others as well as inspirational content and resources for Christian women at www.ChristianWomensResources.com to help strengthen the home and family.

The Process of Pollination
Many plants and animals live in harmony with one another as certain plants and their colors and markings attract insects and animals.
These insects and animals help spread pollen as they carry it from flower to flower as it sticks to it's body. This process is called pollination.
Bees help in the pollination process as they collect nectar to make their honey.
Let's explore the process of Pollination.

The Process of Photosynthesis
The plants then release a gas called oxygen into the air which is where we get our air to breathe in. When we breathe out, we breathe out carbon dioxide which is what the plants need to make their food.
Let's explore the process of Photosynthesis.
