U2 isn't just another rock band baby, it is 'the best rock band'!
U2 isn't just about these four guys. U2, is about you too baby! They put the music together and play it and sing it better than any other group on the planet, because it's not just about them, it's about us baby.
You don't hear other groups playing U2 music very often, because they can't do it anywhere near as well. Why? It's in the way that their music is mixed! No one has been able to duplicate it yet, and they're not going to. If, I have to pick the music to put on, one of my first choices is U2. When U2 comes on a radio station, the volume goes up. I relate to the lyrics and the music takes me somewhere higher! *My favorite album: The Joshua Tree - My favorite band: U2.

U2, the rock band from Doblin, Ireland. The band members are Bono with vocals and guitar; The Edge with guitar, keyboards and vocals; Adam Clayton with bass guitar; and Larry Mullen with drums and percussion.
The first video is inspiring to watch!
U2 formed in 1976 - they were teenagers with limited musical proficiency.
In the mid 1980s, U2 became a top international band with an anthemic sound and Bono's impassioned vocals, and The Edge's textural guitar playing. In 2005, the band were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in their first year of eligibility.

The next song is one of my all time favorite songs!
Since 2000, U2 has pursued a more conventional rock sound that retains the influence of their musical explorations through out the years. In 1987 the Joshua Tree album brought U2 "from heroes to superstars," according to Rolling Stone. I remember that very well.
What a great group of talented men!
U2 added to the dance and alternative rock revolutions. They sure do have their own sense of style. They reinvented themselves again with their 1991 album Achtung Baby and the accompanying Zoo TV Tour.

- 25 years ago I took my daughter and a friend to see U2 at Madison Square Garden for her 13th birthday. I recently told someone about it.
Coming to the Lincoln Tunnel from New Jersey is a bottle neck that take 1/2 on a good day. The whole area is a black hole of soul sucking bad energy.
However, as we approached the dreaded spot this day, the whole atmosphere was transformed. There were hundreds of cars filled with teenaged girl and their parents. The girls were all beside themselves with joy and even the parents seemed ok. I have never seen anything like it, certainly not on that spot!
In the Garden it was the same. I can get the feeling back just thinking about it. Thanks so much for reminding me again!
