UFO's - Unidentified Flying Objects

UFO's have been around since recorded history but modern UFO history did not really occur until June of 1947 when Kenneth Arnold spotted UFOs traveling near Mt. Rainier with an estimated speed exceeding 1000 mph. Now at the time there was really nothing officially that could travel that speed. It could be said that Nazi Messerschmidt jets recovered at the end or WWII could have been capable of this.

Then just a month later in 1947 it is reported by the RAAF (The older version of the USAF) that the capture of crashed flying saucer had occurred near Roswell, New Mexico that included aliens. The story was soon changed to say that it was a weather balloon. Regardless the area was crawling with military personnel that cleaned up the area and sworn to secrecy to never talk about the incident.

Even now almost 60 years later the Roswell incident has a mystique about it and regardless of the government claims one has to wonder what was recovered because it does not appear to be of terrestrial origin. If you follow the so called trail of UFO lore then this event leads into the technologies and craft that were once seen around Area 51. What do you believe in regards to the Roswell crash the first account of a weather balloon or a government account in the late 90's of dummies dropped in para shoots when full disclosure of the incident was pressed.

UFOs have been observed by many people. The more prominent are political figures such as former President Jimmy Carter. When he was governor of Louisiana he claims to have seen a UFO.

Many astronauts who flew on the Apollo missions claim to have seen UFO's. Former President Reagan in 1987 in a speech to the United Nations asked what does it take for people to unite and stop fighting among them selfs and other nations, a threat that is extra terrestrial and not from this earth! That being said why was he pushing for a Star Wars missile defense system was it to defend from the Soviets or some other threat that was extra terrestrial?

The denial from top ranking government officials have been to discredit and make witnesses feel like they are crazy.

Was Project Blue Book an attempt to collect data about UFOs for The Central Intelligence Agency but at the same time discredit any credible witnesses or accounts?

Was the Condon Report in the sixties the same to discredit UFOs as craft controlled by intelligent control and that all accounts could be explained as terrestrial in nature...

The UFO Bentwaters Case in England in 1980 even with very credible witnesses observing UFOs flying around in the perimeter of the base in the Rendlesham Forest was written off as a lighthouse beacon.

The Phoenix lights of March 1997 were officially explained as military flairs despite the many accounts from civilians that a craft larger than one could explain was seen in the area and it did not make a noise as it passed overhead.

Is it not ironic that those who wrote the reports but did not see the phenomenon them selves can claim that it was something else in each and every case!

Unidentified submerged objects are still considered UFO's that are traveling underwater. Possibly at supersonic speeds and there are many theories on how this speed could be achieved. Due to the amount of UFO sightings over water possibly creating water spouts it has been suggested that UFO's get their energy from water or somehow use water for energy.
Maybe a water is broken down to hydrogen and oxygen and one of those elements are used for propulsion. I suspect that UFO's are propelled by 2-3 systems depending on the planet or gravity force they must encounter.
