Looking for ex-Dawgs in the NFL?
Terrence EdwardsThe record-breaking wideout made it into camp with the Atlanta Falcons before being cut and eventually heading north of the border to play in the Canadian Football League.
Edwards bounced between a few teams before having a breakout season in 2007 when he was the CFL's 5th leading receiver. He currently plays for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. He is currently (Nov.09) the only former Georgia player in the CFL.
Check out his touchdown celebration here.
Kenneth Harris
Harris was not drafted but caught on as a free-agent signing with the Detroit Lions. He has not played yet this season (2009).
Thomas Brown
Brown was injured in 2008 and spent the season on injured reserve with the Atlanta Falcons. He made it all the way through training camp before being one of the last cuts. As of October 2009 he has not signed on with another team.
Greg Blue
Blue is living in Minnesota with his family and working out, trying to stay in shape and get back into the NFL. He played for the Vikings for a year, then was cut and played for the Lions before being cut.
Tony Gilbert
Gilbert followed Mike Smith to Atlanta and is in his second season with the team, along with fellow Dawgs Verron Haynes and DJ Shockley (practice squad).
Tra Battle
Tra was cut at the end of the 2009 Training Camp by the Cleveland Browns. He did play for two seasons in the NFL, with the Dallas Cowboys and the San Diego Chargers.

- Maddawg - Lots of people have been asking that - right now he's living in Minnesota with his family and working out, trying to stay in shape and get back into the NFL. He played for the Vikings for a year, then was cut and played for the Lions before being cut by them. I think he was hampered in camp by a lingering injury and couldn't play at full speed.

- Good question Ken... off the top of my head I know that Mo Lewis made at least one Pro Bowl. As for the NFL Hall of Fame, only two UGA players are in there - Tarkenton and Trippy.
