However, I found that the longer you stay in your house, the more stuffs you will keep if you do not clear your unwanted stuffs from time to time. Besides selling or giving away your unwanted stuffs, there are just some stuffs that you will rather keep. So, I am building this lens to share some clever ideas on how to uncluttered your house.

Store Your Bedsheets, Mattress Protector, Pillow Cases

To store your bedsheets, mattress protector, pillow cases of the same set, fold them neatly into a size smaller than your pillow case. Next, take one of the pillow case from the same set, put the bedsheets, mattress protector, pillow cases into the pillow case. Now you can store your whole set of bedding nicely into your wardrobe. You can do this with your spare bedsheets, mattress protector and pillow cases too.

How to Fold Plastic Bags to Save More Space

Flatten a plastic bag on the floor.

Fold it into half, then into half again. It will look like this.

Fold the bottom part into half.

Start from the bottom, fold the plastic bag at 45 degree.

Continue folding it until it is left with the handles.

Fold the handles into half.

Fold the top part into a triangle so that the handles will fit into the body.

slot the handle of the plastic bag into the main part.

The final result will look like this.

You can now store hundreds of plastic bags into a small box like this. This method is also useful when you want to put some plastic bags into your handbag because it will not take up a lot of space.

Instead of dumping all your toys in a big toy box, sort out your toys and keep them in different boxes. These ice cream boxes are great for keeping small toys. However, you cannot see what you keep inside an ice cream box unless you open it.

Reuse Shoes Boxes

Shoes Boxes are great for keeping lots of stuffs. I use my husband shoe box (which is big enough) to keep all his letters. He love to throw his letters everywhere and I hate sorting them out, so I throw them in shoes boxes.

Shoes boxes fit nicely on most of my shelves.

...the shoes box makes a nice "drawer" in my shelves.

How to Fold Socks So That They Comes In Pairs

Place a pair of socks together.

Fold or row them.

Using the "outer" pair "hole"...

Flip the out side of the sock in.

You will see a ball of sock with it inside out.

Now you can throw these sock wherever you want and they still come in a pair. Save lots of drawer space too.

Repack your toys.

Repack toys that come in bulky boxes with of empty spaces into plastic containers or boxes that fit perfectly. This will save you lots of space and you can pack and stack toys neatly. I do not throw those bulky boxes away, I reuse them for shipping when someone buy something from me at eBay.

After repacking the toys, you can save so much space by putting all the small boxes into a bigger one. You can even label the bigger box if you want.

See my blue box on my shelves, it has become a "drawer" for the toys. I have arrange my shelves so that all the boxes with similar heights goes in together. The plastic containers you see at the bottom of my shelves were free containers that came with coffee powder.

Reuse Empty Tissue Boxes

Empty tissue boxes make great drawer divider. You can easily replace tissue box divider when they get oily or stain if you use them in the kitchen. They are more hygiene than shoes boxes.

Cut the tissue box at the 4 corners as shown in the picture.
