Unexplained Mysteries

The topic paranormal is mostly used in the field of parapsychology to describe possible psychic phenomena of extra-sensory perception, telepathy, sychokinesis, hauntings, ghosts, etc. So we can see that the term Unexplained Mysteries and Paranormal are supplement to each other and explains one another just about right.

Other than being covered in the subject of parapsychology, the term paranormal also applies to UFOs, aliens (creatures that fall under the umbrella of cryptology), mysteries surrounding Burmuda Triangle, and other topics that don't have any physical connection.

There are stories and myths in many cultures and folklores surrounding unexplained mysteries or paranormal activities. However, national science foundation in United States doesn't doesn't support or endorse any paranormal faith or believes that doesn't have any scientific expnanation.

Paranormal

The term UFO is most commonly used to describe alien spacecraft or flying saucer and alliens in the UFOs are taken for UFO's Ghosts. UFO is an abbreviation for Unidentified Flying Object. It is a popular term in science fiction stories or movies and has its own audience of fans. UFO is an object of any aerial phenomenon that cannot be identified immediately.

Since ancient times, there have been many reports of aerial phenomena that are still unidentified. However, first official modern UFO identification and investigation took place during the World War II when so called "foo figherts" were identified by allied air force troops. Since then there have been many reports of UFOs. Even though lot of objects could be identified by the military investigations, there are lot of sightings which still remain as unexplained mysteries.

UFO'S Ghosts

Hauntings can be defined as occurrences of paranormal activity associated with a particular location or structure and usually attributed to the activities of an anomalous entity.

Hauntings are not supported by science and there is lot of skepticism surrounding it. Science attributes hauntings to various different simple physical explanations such as changes in air pressure that causes the house door to shut, super sensitive peripheral vision that makes people to see ghosts, etc. Whether science supports hauntings or not, according to a recent Gallup poll, it showed that about 32% Americans believe that ghosts do exist.

Some explain ghosts as being supernatural and often refer to them as the spirit of a dead person. There are ton of stories surrounding ghosts and lot of places are identified as being haunted. A place where ghosts or the spirit of a dead person frequent to is considered to be haunted. Since sighting of ghosts or hauntiungs don't have any scientific base, they are considered as unexplained mysteries.
