Getting your first pet
Getting started on Unicreatures
If you like you can keep playing like that. Your creature will grow as users click on it, gaining it evolution points.
However if you register it unlocks the rest of the game, including RPG options that can be used to grow your creatures faster, habitats for them and other extras.
Exploring the World
To play the RPG of Unicreatures you need to choose the "Explore the World" option. Choose the location you want to access - two to begin with but more become available in the future.
Then you will be taken to a location with three options, like the screenshot above. Choosing an option takes you to a new page, where you may get something for your interaction. These rewards take the form of coins, items (such as food) that you can use with your pets, or even eggs that will grow into new pets.
However, each page you go to takes up 1 point of energy. You regain energy at the rate of 1 per ten seconds, so its easy to stay ahead if you stop clicking for a while and let it regenerate.
Evolving your pets
Reaching the next stage
When you get your pets they are all in egg form. To turn them into creatures you need to get them evolution points, and to do that you need items.
Once you have some items, you can play with or feed your pet. Each time you do, they gain evolution points, and once they have enough you have an option to evolve them to the next stage. Eventually they will reach their final atage and adulthood.
Evolving your creatures (and other actions in the game) can grant your Accomplishments. Each Accomplishment unlocks more options, so the game becomes more complex as you play.

Achievements
As you play Uncireatures you can gain accomplishments. These are granted for completing goals e.g:- Fully evolving a creature of a type
- Having all creatures of all stages of a families evolution in your possession
- Having Noble or Exalted creatures
To get an accomplishment, once you think you have achieved it, go onto your accomplishments page and click the red cross by it. If you have achieved it, the cross will turn gold. The screenshot on the left shows an example.
These aren't just for personal satisfaction - at set levels of accomplishments, new areas, eggs and items become available.

I admit, the reason I joined Unicreatures was because the fox was cute.
Why continue playing it? Well, it's the only game where I have been rick-rolled by a talking hamburger.
