    I tried repeatedly to uninstall AVG from my computer, What a nightmare!!!! Now I am sure that it has brought in some kind of virus. I have gotten no help from AVG even though I had purchased the full system. I need it off of my machine if I see one more time that I have to restart my computer to update AVG I am going to go crazy.

    Antivirus, virus, anything to do with a virus and our computers ends up being a big pain! Fortunately, I have some computer experience so I can usually work through these issues, but a step by step visual like you've done in this lens for uninstalling AVG goes a long ways towards getting the problem resolved sooner rather than later!

    Thank-you so much!!! :D I installed AVG antivirus the free trail into my PC, and I was tricked!! x( STUPID AVG!!! STUPID ME FOR INSTALLING! I learned my lesson! I will never download an anti-virus software ever again! I rather buy it at the store and install a anti-virus CD into my PC. (I will not buy the AVG!) Anyways, thank-you so much!     I have tried everything to get this "intruder" off my PC, including their own downloadable AVG removal tool. I feel my PC has been "hijacked" by my own antivirus program! I detest AVG for this and all my system resources that it hogs! Avira is just as bad -- still in my system. Yes, I know how to clean my registry. Yet, still AVG and Avira won't go! I will see if the Perfect Uninstaller works and if so, buy it!
