Uninstall windows media player

Uninstall Windows Media Player by eduting the Registry:
1. Open the Registry Editor by running the Regedit command.
2. In the Registry Editor window, navigate to the following registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \SOFTWARE \MicrosoftWindows\ Current Version \Uninstall

3. Click on the entry for Media Player , Media Player 11, and any other update you want to remove. On the right two strings will be displayed: DisplayName and UninstallString.

5. Next, exit the Registry Editor window and paste the copied string value in the Start > Run > Open field.

Before installing IE7 (and before *uninstalling*), it is important to complete the following steps.

* Set a restore point (just in case)

c. Follow the onscreen steps to finish the removal of it.
d. Install a new version of Explorer of internet as you want.

Method 3:
# Close Internet Explorer and any open windows
# Click on Start, click on Control Panel
# Double-click on Add/Remove Programs
# Find the Internet Explorer 7 program

5. Click the Remove button and complete the removal. Your browser will revert to the last version of Internet Explorer you had installed on your computer, in most cases this will be Internet Explorer 6.0

If you cannot find Internet Explorer 7 listed in the Add/Remove Programs window, click the Show Updates checkbox at the top of the window to reveal it and then proceed with the removal.

Method 4: Get an uninstaller software like Perfect Uninstaller. The uninstaller software will uninstall IE with some clicks.
