Small Dogs Like Small Things

My owner, sometimes I call her Mom, asked me to help her do another lens!  I'm so excited because now I can share what little dogs like me like...these are things that you can get any time, or you can get for special occasions like Christmas.  I love Christmas!  I even open my own presents, we might have a picture of that to share later. 

When you have a little dog like a Yorkie, Chihuahua, Bichon Frise, Jack Russell Terrier, Llasa Apso, Maltese, Papillon, Pug, or any number of other little guys or girls like me, you have to pick food, toys and other things that suit our small size.

Small Twist and Treat Toy 

We get good exercise working to get our treats out of this toy...you put the treats inside, and how hard we have to work and how much exercise we get depends upon how big an opening you leave for the treats to fall out. I'm asking for this for Christmas, and hoping they leave it open so it's easy for me to get the treats>:-)

Extra Small Squeaker Balls 

I like squeaky toys, but sometimes it's hard to find one that has the "squeaker" close enough to the edge of the toy for my little mouth to reach it.

Mini Snacks that are Good for Teeth 

I loving ripping open my snack gifts...I can smell them through the gift wrap!

Finding food and snacks small enough for our little mouths and teeth can be challenging. It's nice if they let you see through the bags to see the treats, but sometimes my owner Mom has to feel through the bag to try and figure out if the treats are small enough. This bag says it's for small breeds, so it's probably good, and good for the teeth. My breed tends to have teeth that go bad easily, so good dental care is important, and in snack form, fun!

Opening my Christmas Present 

This picture is a blurry, furry, flurry of activity, because I'm busy trying to get my Christmas present open. First I shake it around a lot, then rip and shred it, until it's open.

My owner says she so excited that she found this, because she heard from a friend who got one for her yorkie-poo that it is such a fun gift...I don't know what it does yet, but when she gets me one for Christmas (hint, hint) I'll find out! A ball that makes sounds, giggles, or something like that.

I have a car seat like this so that when we drive down the road, I can see out the window, and I think my owners like it because I don't jump on their laps all the time, which can get to be kind of dangerous while diving. It has a little strap that attaches to my harness, just long enough so I can move a bit, but short enough so that I can't jump out.

To be honest with you, I don't like these on my feet, but my neighbor dog friend wears these little boots and they don't bother her. You know your dogs personality and whether or not they will like them, we have a way of letting you know. If I did like them, I bet I'd be allowed to stay outside in the snow and ice longer!
