Miley Cyrus stars as Miley Stewart in Hannah Montana the Disney cable channel's live action show about a girl who leads a double life. With a normal life by day, at night she don's a blonde wig and performs as a famous pop star (Hannah Montana). It's a role that has turned Cyrus into a real-life TV star and Hannah Montana into a monster hit a among a generation young teenagers.

In the series Miley Stewart, aka Hannah Montana, is in her mid teens and just an ordinary teenage girl who lives a double-life as a successful pop sensation Hannah Montana. Along with the rest of her family, she is originally from Tennessee, but currently lives in California with her father Robby Stewart, and Brother Jackson. In his younger days, her father too was a singer, and like Miley, currently leads a double life as Hannah Montana's father, manager, and producer under the alias "Robbie Ray".

When Miley arrives at Seaview Middle School, she reveals her secret of leading dual-lives to a couple of her best friends. Due to her double life, Miley is often in awkward situations (such as sleeping in late on a school day after a concert or going on date as Miley to a Hannah Montana concert).
Miley deals with romantic ups and downs as most teenage girls do. She has a crush on Jake Ryan and finally tells him her secret. He later gets angry and their relationship ends. In the end he goes from ex-boyfriend to friend.
She finds it very difficult sometimes when people say they like Miley but can't stand Hannah Montana. The troubles of having a double life always seem to plague Miley. But gradually her secret is revealed or found out by friends and most of the Stewart family. I've come up with a list of 14 people in the series who probably know Miley's secret.
