uPlej (pronounced 'you pledge') is a Professional Fund Raising organization. They have combined social networking and charitable giving through a powerful, yet simple system for individuals, businesses and charities to raise money for their favorite public charity.

How uPlej Works... 

To get involved with charitable giving, you first sign-up for a uPlej account and select a charity that you wish to support. You pay $4.99 per month and create your own uPlej user page. Then spread the word and tell others to do the same. $1 a month from each friend who joins your uPlej network will go to your charity as well as $1 from their friends and $1 from their friends' friends. This gives you the opportunity to raise a great amount of money for your charity(s) every month, and it allows you to harness the power of Social Networking and Charitable Giving!

How You Can Raise $1,020 A Year For Your Cause With uPlej... 

If you join uPlej and ask 4 friends to join your network, and each of those friends ask 4 friends to join their networks, and each of their friends' friends ask 4 friends to join their networks, you would have 85 people in your network.
