What does Uppy Me Mama mean?
This name was picked out because when your child want's to be uppied and you still have things to do, then strap them in your new uppy me mama and both mom and baby are happy!
Our loved ones are always wanting to be heald, always! The newborns need your touch more then ever, they loved to be swaddled, hear your heart beat and take in a deep breath of your mommy smell, the older ones tend to say hold me, uppy, or Up! Your back tends to give out or your arms feel like they are going to fall off! So why carrie them in your arms when you can carrie them under you heart in a wonderfly sewn hadcrafted baby carrier called the Mei Tai, beautifuly put together by uppy me mama.

***This carrie has no buckles, loopes, snaps or belts! It is a simple tie and away you go!
***The carrier can be used from NEWBORN to 35LBS
***It can be worn on front, back, high back, or side!
***This carrier can be used while nursing as well!
***All my carriers are reversible, with a print on one side and a sold on the other, so if dad wanted to wear it he could.
***My NEW VERSION: for the carriers i currently have for sale it is just a square bottom part, but my new ones will have a curve, will be where the babies legs are. It seems to be hard for a child the ages 3-9months to fit properly because they have shorter legs, they are the inbetween size, so what i have done it made it curve in to only 10" so the babies have more room for legs to dangle. But the ones i currently have still do work properly!
When i put my new version up it will be labled new version!
***It is sewn together with your childs safety in mind: I use 3 body layers, an x method on my straps and after it is turned write side out i sew again all the way around making sure to go over the straps 3 times!
***Material i use: 100% cotton, Bottomweight Poplin, Stretch Poplin, or 100% cotton Interlock! Those are the only materials i will use, but for your design fabric it can be of any type of material because it does not have anything to do with the structure of the carrier.
***My Sizes: Petiet, Regular and Plus
Petiet: body 15"x 21" Top Straps 50"L 6"W Bottom Straps 20"L 4"W
Regular: body same on all sizes Top Straps 60"L 6"W Bottom Straps 30"L 4"W
Plus Size: Top Straps between 70"-80"L 6"W Bottom Straps only need to be 35" I do plus size on request, I don't normally make them to sell.

Did you know that one of the best way's to bond with baby is by holding your child. How bout the fact that your carrier can be used as a swaddle method and that it helps with preemies. How bout when your baby or toddler just needs some attention, but you have so much cleaning to do! Strap them up and take them with you! Your carrier can be used for cleaning the house, calming and soothing fussy babies, going to the park, how bout grocery shopping. Has your baby ever become fussy because they wanted out of the carseat or shopping cart because it is taking so long? When your child is stuck to you is up and moving more he/she is more likely to do better when your shopping.My daughter is 17months and would rather be in her uppy me then in a shopping cart! "FABRIC SHOPPING" wow does that take a long time, and a couple times I needed to take her with me, so what did i do, i braught the carrier straped her up and away we went. I had her in it for over 2 hours, she fell asleep and even after waking up she was still a perfect angle, these work great!

I not only make baby carriers, but nursing covers as well. My nursing covers are a one size fits all! They have velcro on the strap to adjust to the perfect size. It includes a attatched burpcloth that is indeed a pocket as well. No more running to the bathroom, or throwing a blanket over you that you know at any minute it is going to be pulled off! This way you and baby are covered at all times and he/she can't remove it! Why be ashamed at what we were given, feed your babies when they need to eat any place any time! I've only used my carrier a few times, cuz i mainly use his carseat and stroller. But the times I have used it... it comes in handy. My lil guy is only 2 months old and he doesnt seem to fuss about being in it. He ends up falling asleep in it. He likes to be up close against his mommy. I have also breastfed in it, I dont even have to take him out. Just losen it up and there you go.
Love, Love, Love, my Uppy Me! I bought one from Robye a month ago for my 5 month old son Wyatt, who is a snuggle bug, and both he and I could not be happier! Thank you Robye for such a quick and beautifully put together baby carrier. I HATED my old one which felt so uncomfterable, it felt like I was buckled and sinched into a big heavy bra or something! My son would cry to get out in less than 5 minutes EVERY time! Now with the new one you made us, he stays in there for over and hour and a half sometimes and even falls asleep in there, and I don't mind because it's so comfterable to wear! **I LOVE the uppy me carrier and so does Elijah. we just got it yesterday but have already worn it for over 2 hours. Its so well built and easy to put on I feel much more secure with Elijah in the Uppy Me than I do with him in our Moby. It doesnt hurt my back like most carriers do. Robye was so quick making it it only took her one day. Its well designed and sewn together. Elijah loves being in it something I can't say about my other carriers. I will definately be recommending Robye to everyone I know.
